A update.
Having now covered 1000 miles on her, the rear is pretty shot. So looking at possibly putting on either Rosso Corsa or M7rr's as I know they will be good for fast road and hoping to give me some extra miles from the rear.
Still trying to get used to the ferocious acceleration. I'm to busy riding to take pics of myself but christ the first 4 gears. Anything above 8k is hyperdrive. It's so quick of the mark, grips like st. Trying to keep the front wheel down is getting fun now as i'm getting used to it.
The Bike's been perfect. Yes she likes her drink and eats tyres but handles so well for a heavier bike. 30-40Kg so i'm told by the info over my Blade but does not feel it at any speed.
The larger front screen is very good at motorway speed's at keeping me out of the majority of the windblast
This has been the only bike I've not looked back at my previous bike even for 1 minute and thought "i miss my other bike".
The attention it gets at bike meets is quite amazing to.
Off to another weston bike night tonight if anyone is going
2 things I want to get done to the bike is a TT3 racing H2r exhaust as it looks and sounds amazing, the ECU flashed as it is limited in i think the first 4 gears and limited top speed. And from what I have read should easily give 30-40BHP as it's been detuned.
But that's just what I've read so could be crap. the proof is in the talking to the dyno people. Brocks in the US has some good figures on standard H2's with a few minor mods

Easily possible. Friend of mine is the dyno guy at a well known tuning shop and they are gently tweaking one up in various stages. The owner (Jamie someone) seems to have BOOST in various adulterated personal plates on all his silly bikes. Not sure whether he is on the interweb or not. Last I heard it was mid 240's at the back wheel but had a truly obnoxious pipe on it - this was despite the ECU still closing the butterflies so not all restrictions been removed yet. I'm watching my mate race in a fortnight (classics at Donington) so I'll ask him how he's getting on with the next stage. I think owner was starting to talk about Millington mods (?) so it might be going beyond a few tweaks.
Saw one on my local dyno last week, it made 204bhp at the back wheel as standard, with over 100 lb/ft torque through most of the rev range. It now makes quite a bit more, it has three different maps which have all been changed. Owner will be doing some top speed runs at Elvington, as well as it being a road bike. They said that from 11,500rpm to the redline the ECU backs off the throttle even when its wide open, sort of a soft cut out, which they've since removed. Hope to get a vid of it on the dyno next week.

Thermal protection?
I gather you mean for the extra heat for the upgrades. Not that I've read. the temp on my bike reads lover than my Blade. not that this may make any difference
Just amazing what power bikes can make. Not that it's needed on the road or even track. Still fun seeing what you can get

Sorry, I was talking about the post just before mine, where the ECU apparently limits output at higher revs. Not that I've read. the temp on my bike reads lover than my Blade. not that this may make any difference

No idea, but here's the dyno graph, though the tuning hasn't been completed yet, you can see how at the top end the power falls away as standard..
I have a feeling the output potential of the H2 is very strong indeed. The absolute figures on the dyno graph are hard to read but am I right in saying the 'tuned' peak bhp is now starting with a 3?That was just a work in progress figure, its had a bit more work since, in fact I'm just back from filming it on its last run on the dyno.

That gas analyser cable rubbing against the rear wheel during the run is a bit st! Edit to add the video link

No - it's a mere 231hp... If that's RWHP then it's going to be mighty!
Popped to my local bike garage JHS racing near Bristol and had Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres fitted to the H2. 1200 miles and the rear was dead. So going to see ho these are going to last
Also talked to the owner James about flashing the ECU or dyne work to remove some of the restrictions on the bike.
Something I'm looking into for the future
