Yeah, if im in the area its one of those showrooms always worth a browse ....usually they have loads of mint examples, but also top market prices

I do wonder where all the rich collectors are who buy some of these bikes.....

Or who buys new exotica like that, just to stick it under a dust cover, surely there are better commodities to horde ?

Not sure. If you got your hands on a Domiracer you'd probably make more than the 3-4% with banks?

Its not a showroom, its a bloke who doesn't really know what he's selling and has been known to tell lies about stuff.

Pretty much every listing is full of crap!
Anyone who believes half of it deserves to be parted with their cash by them....

Yes, certainly some bikes might, but ones like this will be too much risk for my liking. Luck has kept Desmosedici values high, they could easily have dipped, it is pretty much a white elephant.

Spot on about investment in commodities when the banks are just giving pennies & buttons in interest, the Classic and Supercar markets are rising fast and wine is also, with research, surprisingly rewarding. You also have the option, in the event of zombie apocalypse, to enjoy your investment.

Out of interest to find out more about what chance I would get to have a test ride if I wanted to put my money down on a H2 in the future I emailed Kawasaki Head office and the reply was pretty much this

As the H2 ninja is being built in limited numbers by the factory and as such the purchasing process for it is different to any other road bike that we have produced. the small quantities mean that the motorcycle are sold on a first come first served bases to customers who have registered an interest and paid a deposit. The effect is that the Ninja H2 within Kawasaki is already sold and we are unable to provide a demonstrator motorcycle for potential customers such as yourself

I feel I could not spend that much on a bike and know now 100% that I will feel comfy on the bike.

A shame as I love the looks of the bike, but there are plenty of other bikes out there made in even more limited numbers such as the Ace I can get a test ride on and make sure i'm 100% happy to spend my money on

No doubt it is an incredible achievement. I just don't like the way it looks, and thats from a Kawasaki owner. What is wrong with me ?

Maybe that's a good thing. I've never liked Kawasaki's personally but like this. #

Maybe their thinking is a big change from the norm will bring in people like me

Sorry to bump this thread

As my blade insurance is out in 10 days time I was talking to someone at Bennetts about how much insurance would be if I changed to the H2 or Ace. they can insure me on the Ace for a reasonable amount but are unable to insure me on the H2

So my question, Owners of the H2 on here. Would you mind if I ask where you get your insurance from

cheers

I'm the same. I've a good look at one now, and I just can't find a way to like the styling or the stance.
I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I suspect that it's an amazing bike to go scare yourself on, but surely they could've made it look half decent

Sounds odd, I added my H2 to my policy for £100. I'm with Carole Nash. It's a shame you can't get a demo ride on an H2, it would blow your mind, there's nothing else like it.

Really? Even with all the mods you have made like ECU reflash, exhaust etc?

Was your bike in one of the bike mags recently. they had a articular about a Austin ecu flash and exhaust etc like yours

I would love a test ride but it seems unlikely. I have found 1 or 2 in the midlands via a few dealers who are selling. May give them a call and see if they still have them and allow a test ride

I was told via the chap that as they are a unknown bike and unsure how they will be with clams due to the spec they found it difficult to find a broker for them.
cheers on the heads up about Carole Nash

Yes, that was my bike in Fastbikes last month. I had the first H2 through my dealer in April last year so the bike was extremely new to the Insurer when i called to get it added. I think the underwriter is Equity Red Star, but i'd need to double check.
