Awesome.....enjoy smile

is it a more relaxed riding position than say a ZX10R ? more like a ZZR14 ?

(re the hip comment earlier - do you have hip replacements? I do and im not comfy for long enough on sportsbikes since)

Only Sports bike I have had was my 2011 Fireblade and this is as good if not better. But thats only on a short trip

re my Hip I've had 2 big ops on my Right hip due to bone growths. 1 smaller op on my Left hip which found my cartilage is falling apart and will require a full hip replacement when the pain gets to much. I was told this 3 years ago. If I can hang on a few more years plus it'll be happy

Won't stop me riding sports bike which I enjoy

Well first ride out yesterday with 2 mates who now both have a BMW S1000 R. One on a 14 and one on a 16 plate

Was intending to just add a few miles via Chepstow to Abergavenny and then off for a brekky and Tea at Honey Cafe.

But we ended up at Elan valley in the end a 100 miles from me .

AS it was my first ride since Oct my wrists and hips hurt a little after 200 miles but no more than it would have on my Blade

Thoughts on the H2.
Even through the Bike is quiet a bit heaver than my Old Blade it feels very light when riding. Easy to turn.
My God does it accelerate and just want to keep on going. Most of the time I was trying to keep it under 4k. A few times once I was past the first 100 miles I loaded the bike up to 8k. but most of the time it was kept under 6k.

I have the bike set to the pussy mode at the moment just to get me used to it. Setting 3 on the dash. Unsure if it's less power or more interruption from the electronics.

The Bike is really easy to ride, seat is comfy and easy to move on the bike.
The Quick shifter is great but not got around to looking at all the settings and having a play with it yet.

The dash showed after 200 miles I've averaged 32MPG. Which is quiet a but less than my Blades average of 45-50MPG + but I did not buy the bike for good MPG.
I think I got around 100 miles max until the fuel light came on

Still a very easy bike to ride, I had no issues around town, twistys or on fast open roads

Very happy with my choice of bike

First 100 miles I was very careful. After that the odd blat was very enjoyable and amazed me the difference to the blade low down power wise and just how it wanted to keep going and going

Huge Number plate night removed and now in place is a EvoTech one.

I have ordered from the US a Techspec tank pad which I need to fit. And Evotech Rad guard

Just a update and please tell me if you find this boring as I won't bother so much if this is the case

I took the H2 out Friday and covered another 150 miles so in total in 2 trips out covered 350 miles. Not bad but still another 250 until I get it in for a service

I popped from Bristol up to Gloucestershire then across to Ross on Wye and then to abbergavenny before coming home. Got caught out in the rain which was not fun with track tyres on. Seem to have caught the only rain cloud in the sky on friday

I have embedded the pics via my One drive as PH won't allow the size of my pics so hoping you can see them

Enjoying the updates. Pictures aren't showing. Recommend you open a photobucket.com account. Easiest way to embed hi-res images really and they have Android/iOS apps too.
seems they may be working for some and not others

AS for keeping the bike clean I have added paint protection myself, it's not perfect but will do the job.
The techspec I had to buy from the US and no one in the uk do them yet. or sell them over here.

Using a lot of gtechniq stuff as I've found to to be very good and last ages. Using C5 on the wheels and Crystal Serum Light on the bodywork over the paint protection. it's not cheap but if it lasts half as long as they say on a bike or car being used daily then it should last a long time on my bike

Does anyone yet make a belly pan for these bikes as to me that area looks unfinished.
Belly pan here

As for mods not really . Only thing I may look into is a Brock ECU flash to remove the limiter and give's you a little (loads) of extra power

I've never even seen a bike like yours in the flesh so no, its not boring. Keep the picture's coming too, not just when its been polished either.

Wheelie pictures, I wanna see wheelie pictures.
I'll get some vid up soon. and for wheelie pics i'll try.

I did st myself Friday opening it up. it's got so much grunt i was pushed back into the back of the bike, throttle opened up and felt the front come up only a little but seemed like it for a half a mile. probably was only 10 feet

Totally off-topic, but what do you think of the GT86? I'm considering one to replace my daily driver when the time comes, but don't know if it will feel special/fun/raw/noisy enough.

The H2 looks awesome by the way.
I bought the 86 for the wife but she does not get much chance to use it wink
Lovely car. toured france, Swizerland, into german including autobahn and belgium last May. lovely car to do 400 miles in a day easy and gave me 40MPG average over 1700 miles. and that included a few triple figure blats on the auto ban.

Added wheels, exhausts so now sounds as good as it drive.
We have had it 2 years in July and still give's me a smile every drive. And enough room for my 10 and 13 year olds in the back for journeys less than a hour.
can't fault it

Just my opinion but you have to consider getting that belly pan, it really does finish it off nicely.
Well just looked at the 250,000 yen price tag which with google shows £1600 for the cheapest as it goes up in price. no not at the moment but see what they do in the future
