Didn't take the bike to brands but heading up to Cadwell on it in two weeks. Initial impression after doing 700 miles on the tyres are that they seem to have a much sportier profile then PR4's (I don't know if that was due to my old front being a bit worn out). Waiting to test them out in some rain and on track now smile

Gave the tyres a good spanking in the damp and then drying conditions at Cadwell. Used a wet front and the Metzeler rear when it was damp and it didn't slip once. Then when it dried up a bit more, I got the front on and it felt nice and planted. Running in inters at an average 2 minute lap (I know, slow!) on a 600 hornet. Really impressed with the tyres if I'm perfectly honest. Next test they need to go through is some torrential rain while commuting, I can't recall having done that yet. They don't seem to squirm like the Michelins do is one thing I have noticed. They just feel planted like a sportier based tyre.

I think my original milage was around 34,250 upon fitting and I'm now at 35k. I will be interested in seeing how long the tyre lasts. So assuming it's great in properly wet conditions for commuting and the tyre lasts, I'd definitely consider buying a set of these over the Michelins.

Shame on the people who got free tyres and haven't done any decent updates.

Did you try out them in the wet and are they better the PR4s - I commute in the wet pretty much all the time and my Pilot4's are amazing.

Just seen this. Tried them out in the wet but felt more confident with the PR4's.
