MCN London Motorcycle Show
Discussion
Booked tickets will be going Sunday. Kids (18mths and 3) love it. One of the few places they can go an sit on touch stuff without getting into bother (Soft Play centres are awful as you end up following your kids about so that the unruly 10years olds in the toddlers section don't push the kids over).
I looked on the MCN site but could not see if honda etc are doing the mini bike thing they did at the NEC I am keen to get both kids on 2 wheels soon as possible to see if they enjoy it (I was 30 when I first rode a bike something I regret putting off). Anyone know?
PS speaking with the Bimota importer the other day an he said at the NEC they were worried about people sitting on the bikes with zips etc an scratching them as the ones you see at the show are only ones they have etc. Oh an whoever it was that asked if they did 125's hang your head in shame.

Is this show the kind of thing where it's best to get there on the first day to get bargains (lid, leathers, etc) or is there so much stock of stuff it doesn't matter?
Never been before...
Having been to numerous bike shows on various days I have found it makes no real odds, very occasionally you might get some last day desperation sales but they yend to be on the stuff that they only still have because no one wants, so think early 90's leathers etc ...... otherwise they will haggle on any day, decide what you think something is worth to you, bit of research so you know the 'internet price' and buy if you see value, I often buy a lid, ie one a show lol and would happily pay a tenner or so more to buy it there and then and support the suppliers that make the effort .... in the last few years I've got good deals on boots, lids, leathers and gloves ..... maybe not to th penny cheapest out there but you get to try it on, get to haggle and banter and then buy Never been before...
