They say they're no wider than a 2 wheeler….. scratchchin

They're weird to follow from a small distance, it always looks like the rider is dangling both feet.

The one I saw was as capable of filtering as a canal boat!
If they're using a fully kitted GS as their reference, maybe.

I work in Paris now. You would have a stroke most days with the quality of driving and riding.

You're absolved if you do move over.
I was in a queue of stationary bikes attempting to make progress filtering in heavy traffic one evening last week caused by.. you guessed it mp3! The guy was stopped to cause MAXIMUM inconvenience to all the other bikes, he could have moved over a couple of foot and stopped thus letting all the normal bikes through, unsuprisingly he was getting all sorts of abuse off the other bikers in front of me.

Silly question, but if you don't have room to filter through, how do you have room to move over???

Sorry I should have stated he was wedged between a coach in the bus lane and the solid queue of traffic in the right hand lane, there was a ton of space behind the coach in the bus lane

Oh yes! smile Real world example of an average MP3 rider in London, most are car drivers on the ones that don't qualify for the need to have a proper bike license as they have nice wide wheels - the riders behaviour mirrors a car driver at time basically.

I saw one the other week cutting through the Jo'burg traffic.
Helmet cam, 52 acres of reflective tape, HiViz jacket the works. Then the gormless chop decides to tear down the dirt side of the road past the taxi buses becuase he realised he couldn't fit down the middle of the queueing cars. I though they were going to shoot the clown when he nearly wiped out a bunch getting out of their taxi!
They might seem like a good idea but they do have a whiff of the Mangina about them.. biggrin
