So, was meant for GM182 the tripod...
Oh yes! smile Real world example of an average MP3 rider in London, most are car drivers on the ones that don't qualify for the need to have a proper bike license as they have nice wide wheels - the riders behaviour mirrors a car driver at time basically.
I saw one the other week cutting through the Jo'burg traffic.
Helmet cam, 52 acres of reflective tape, HiViz jacket the works. Then the gormless chop decides to tear down the dirt side of the road past the taxi buses becuase he realised he couldn't fit down the middle of the queueing cars. I though they were going to shoot the clown when he nearly wiped out a bunch getting out of their taxi!
They might seem like a good idea but they do have a whiff of the Mangina about them.. biggrin
LOL
Well given what my SA friends and colleagues have described to me about Jo'burg to me being shot is pretty likely pulling stupid moves like that no?

I just have an issue with Mp3s being pilioted by completely untrained/non bike licensed car drivers. Generally clueless and shocking road manors/behaviour Not sure if that is the case in SA but in the UK all of the LT MP3 models just require a car license grrrrrrr! I had to do two licenses and craft my bike riding skills over the last 20 years.. there is a massive difference.

Public transport today, fancied a change, 1.5 hrs on the way, thanks to Thameslink being fking st and managed by s who are all destined to die a slow agonising death, 1.5hrs on way home due to Circle/District pootling along like a GS in traffic, wkers. Won't be doing that again in a hurry, idiot.

In other news I found the roads noticeably busier on Tuesday with many more bikes, scooters and cyclists, even managed to get shouted at by a chap on a bicycle, as I had given him a polite rev by way of encouragement to stay the fk where he was and not pull into the centre of the road without looking, made my morning that did.

Oh, and I came across a swiftly ridden three wheeled thing on the way home, enjoyed passing him going up Ladbroke Grove as he sat at one of the sets of lights on a perpendicular road, made my evening that did.

I commute into London and am taking delivery of a piaggio mp3 next week. Take the piss all you want but i reckon it will be a great commuting tool
I see one used around here & as far as I can tell there is only one good thing about them...
...When pulling away from traffic lights in cold weather with a cross slope you can just pin it & drift about 20ft up the road before it straightens up. Makes me chuckle everytime I see him.

The idiot is becoming strong on the commute again.

Why the fk would you stop mid filter and put your foot down?

Dumb ass scooter 'operator' must have spooked himself going through a gap and just stopped solid until nothing else was oncoming. That's fine(ish) if the gap was ever decreasing, but you could have got a Goldwing with Chuck and Martha with their fat arses hanging over the edge of the seat through the gap

I managed to get past him, gesticulating of course. I was hoping he'd come alongside me at the lights to tell me what a rude impatient man I am, but for some reason he stopped about 2 car lengths behind me.

It's only going to get worse as the weather improves!!

Unlike my days in the City, parking bays in the area I'm currently working aren't too bad. Having said that, the scooters that are parked in said bays for days on end without moving say an awful lot about their owners

Last night I had an L-plated scooterist jabbering away on his bluetooth headset having a phone call, unfortunately it made him ride even worse than he probably would be normally if he wasn't chatting away on his ultra important call. Basically issue was he pretty much stopped filtering with nothing in front of him through solid queued traffic in the limehouse link tunnel (heading east) inorder to continue/concentrate on his conversation he'd started at the lights before turning into the tunnel. However he had me and then another 4 bikes behind me f**ked off.. thumb on the horn and the guy then at least spotted the queue of bikes behind him and sheepishly moved over. That should have a smack in the face for sure in my view.
