I'm sorry but I don't really understand why you are asking what would others choose for themselves . Surely you know what colours you like and will have a leaning towards what will / would suit your chosen bike best . Make your choice , have it painted , ride it and enjoy it ...
I wouldn't give a toss what anybody else thought about it .
Not having a pop just confused .
Good luck .
No I fully understand and why I posted the lots of different views.

I asked as bikers will give views on what they like on bikes. rather than me looking at paint swabs

I only asked to get ideas for myself not what others like and that I should get X colour.

Just give me a idea on what may look good as in the baby blue on the 1000rr. It's nice and not something I would have looked at

just giving me ideas

I think the centre piece of the bike s the trellis frame so I'd keep the colour simples. The red looks good
Got to agree with this, the red looks great. I think that a light colour would like a bit rubbish and I wouldn't go for anything too lairy either.

That is fking class.

Continuing the yellow theme, the JCB yellow that Biker's Nemesis has had on various track fairings looks great. Yamaha missed a trick not selling an R1 in that colour.

Simple colour sounds good. As said I don't want to take away the looks of the engineering that goes into the bike with a colour thats to over bearing

But not red. or black. I don't like it personally

How many colours are there?

As I heterosexual male I think there's about 12, and I'm pretty sure orange is actually just light red.

Cheers Mr.Mal and i'm glad you interpreted what I said in the spirit in which it was intended as a lot gets lost in translation on these here forums. I love the Aerial , saw it in the flesh at the show two years ago, the engineering detail is sublime and funnily enough re. choices and opinions, when I first shopped for my S1000 two years ago I wouldn't touch the light blue (Blue Fire,I think) which would have been cheaper than Motorsport , yet now I think it looks absolutely amazing and would have it this time round !

Good luck with choice and am looking forward to seeing your option smile
