That's going to be a GREAT bike, just watch your right hand! As I discovered on my K1200, a total rocketship needs some serious restraint to ride day-to-day wink

Nice bike!

K1: will these do 220 miles to a tank? 80% done at bike motorway speeds

Any fans of the VFR here? Latest one seems quite tidy
Get the 1200.

It's a missile smile.
Power delivery is amazing and the sound is cloud9

I might be biased.

On a serious note, I wanted a bike with some pace for commuting (15k miles/year) and didn't want to do chain maintenance every week. So the short list was the VFR and K1300S. The VFR won it easily on fit & finish for me.

J B L - they won't manage 220 miles on a tank without some very serious right hand control, a lot of down hills and a willingness to run on vapour. smile

200 miles from normal riding is possible with fill ups normally happening between 170 and 180 to limit the possible of being caught out. I have done just over 200 miles a couple of times and not had to push but I didn't enjoy the experience.

Mate of mine has the naked 1300R. Uses it for jobs all over the country as well as scuttling through London.

I moved out of London and got rid of my Street Triple and now use a Mustang 5.0. Very comfy with all the toys biggrin

Once the weather is better I'll use my Vespa 300 again.

Actually really enjoyed my last ride on my street triple this afternoon. Think I'll be back on a triumph at some stage, if only for the triple noise cloud9
