Took mine in for a new tyre today, first time seeing the Sportster S in person, looks good, but would need work for it to be in the running for my next bike, pipes look way too big, and the tail end with the lights and plate on looks horrible and tacked on, would still probably go for an Indian FTR at this point which is what I'm planning.

I still enjoy riding my Harley too, which was a post hip replacement purchase 10 years ago ...a low seat and feet forward was just what the doctor ordered smile

I do also have other bikes for touring and B road blasts ......
I had one of these a couple of years ago. It came with a stupidly loud and low slung Vance and Hines 2-1.
Changed that for an Akrapovic 2-1 which was much better.
125hp at the crank I believe.

Yes 125bhp ish, I think the exhaust/map/filter which most come with may release another few bhp. Lowering the gearing as per US market bikes makes more difference to the way it rides though. For some reason HD decided in Europe we needed a 30t front pulley and >150mph gearing. With a 28t front pulley It feels like another 20bhp, much quicker acceleration and still more than enough top end.

On delivery my bike had Vance and Hines 2 into 2 slip ons without baffles. It was way too loud, so I bought the "quiet" baffles...well they knocked off a few dB, but I wouldn't call it quiet smile
