Bit more done but a lot still to do, this is proving a bit of a ball ache. still got to figure out where to fit the Can-bus gubbins and the belly pan needs quite a bit of trimming to clear the Cat.

All the wiring is one the left hand side of the bike and this is proving to be the biggest ball ache.

A bit more done.

Double bubble screen fitted, Can-bus gubbins mounted and tank cover fitted.

Still have seat unit and rear light to fit, crash bobbins, rear sets and other things that I have forgotten about.

I got a good deal on these fairings painted but they're requiring a lot of fettling to fit.

Yep, I'm pleased with the Pipe-Werx. The bike had its first service last week, all the fault codes have been sorted (helps if you plug stuff back in after taking it apart) so there's just the rear sets and engine protection to fit then its going on track somewhere in the near future.

Well that plan didn't last long rofl
The Scorpion could wake the dead even with a baffle in. I was at Cadwell a few weeks back and there was a lad with a Piper Work exhaust fitted to his R1 which passed noise testing without the cat fitted.

I can't be arsed to keep removing the cat and then refitting when I'm doing UK or foreign days.

I like the look of the long can too.

Looking real nice John!

Got any euro days planned this year on it? Where's its maiden voyage?

I will be sure not to turn up on the same day wearing the same outfit.
Not sure on both counts, I'm just playing it by ear.

The bike is stunning.

I went to Jerez last weekend where they were running a yamaha day. Was a normal track day but one of the groups was people getting turns on a load of R6's and R1's. One of the bikes there (but not included in the riding) was an R1M with that same paint scheme (or very similar)... and it's breathtaking in person.

I don't think pics do it justice, and it looks great in pics so... biggrin
I've seen that picture on Alex James website, the colours are slightly different as we asked too change the colours around a bit.

One question, do the speed blocks line up in real life/ is it just the camera that makes them look a bit, wonky?

Still like it, a lot.
Just the camera angle I think.

Cheers Tim, I'm leaving the wheel colour the same, I'll probably buy a set of Dymags in the near future. (in Black)

Sexy

That pipe looks loud
it is loud, its also Akys bike, He also has a Pipe Werx but has fitted the small Scropion can off his ZX10.

It'll not pass a noise test in hell the noise it makes.

I'm gonna nick it next time I have mine out on the road.
