Well was rather nervous about getting this out the way first but am glad it is now over, has changed a lot since doing my car license.

Roll on cbt and mod 1 2 in the coming weeks.

The hazard perception part of it is a right nightmare. My wife recently failed twice from either not clicking enough or too much on the video's. When I did mine a few years ago it was actual video footage, now it is CGI type stuff.

That a recent change? I did mine about 2 years ago and it was all video footage.

Yeah could not agree more, the cgi was very off putting, one of the clips I clicked around 8 times and it scored me zero because I clicked to many. Ironically it was the easiest one, kids laying in the park kick the ball, ball goes in to road, I clicked it when they kicked the ball but it took an eternity to actually get to the road so failed that one.

The normal test I passed 49/50 so chuffed with that.

I found when practicing for the hazard perception that I would often click too soon and miss the window so I developed a habit of clicking about 3 times for each hazard I saw at about half second intervals, that way I didn't register too many clicks and didn't score less than 3 on any of the hazards.

I had the DVD to practice and was a bit worried about the hazard perception but found the cgi on the test far easier. On the test DVDs the scoring bracket seem to be far too small compared to the test.

The theory test is simply another government money making scam.
