Well that's set the bar.

Herts air ambulance charity ride on Sunday, I don't really like group rides but It's a good cause and an excuse to get out for bit.

Bike is filthy from the 3 seasons (can't possibly be 4 as its been too bloody cold) commuting this week - assuming there is a dry day and I have time it will be getting a clean.
Since getting the fully portable jet wash I've cleaned the bike every week - so thats 4 weeks and counting, totally sorted for living in a flat with no power or running water nearby. smile Thats more bike cleaning than I've done in a very long time, verging on OCD for me.
My old blackbird would get two cleans a year at most, I owned the thing for almost 8 years lol
Other than that its my birthday long weekend so family are visiting one of the days for eating and drinking type of celebrations.

No it's not... 32 degrees here today, crystal blue skies and lovely.
I shall be rebuilding the trials bike and carrying on with the RS250 fettle/never ending project.

I'm taking the newly acquired red Italian breakdown machine to France and Belgium for my girlfriend's first foreign bike trip. We'll keep it fairly simple and short to (hopefully) get her interested and keen for a longer trip in the summer!

Heading out shortly for my 'Big bike conversion' lesson - assuming that it goes well, I'll then be booking my Mod 1, as well as getting some more practice in on the RC125. Snowed here overnight, but thankfully gone this morning so just the freezing cold temps to worry about!

I was going to do that, had it not been for me needing to...

- fit new pads to RR-6
- fit tail tidy to RR-6
- clean it
- watch WSBK

Plus trip into 'that london' with Mrs CW to be and some much needed rest inbetween!

Sorted.

Ideally riding one a day, failing that servicing the GSXR400.

Must remember, the funnel under the sump doesn't work when the sump bolt falls in and blocks it, and just because the oil will go in slowly through the funnel the same funnel can not be relied on to handle the flow of oil coming out.

Likely having a quick blat out to see the lycra brigade on the Tour De T'Yorkshire thanose lunchtime (if it's not raining icicles), then aim to have another blat Sunday morning and possibly Monday depending on weather. Need to get a new C&S kit too and pop some fresh oil & a filter into the GIXXAAAAAAAA!

In between there'll be any motorsport on TV I can possibly fit in.

Just off to Google dirty growlers......

Off to Bruges (in da car) so if I see a broken down UK registered Multistrada I'll keep on going. hehe

Getting the 2nd CB900 custom running Saturday morning. The 1st CB900 is running and went straight through MOT.

Classic bike show in Earsham (Bungay) on Sunday so may take a ride out there weather permitting.

Selling the blade. Giving it a clean, and sticking it on autotrader. Then waiting for the phone to ring

Then, assuming it sells, shopping for something cheaper and more comfy.

If it's any consolation I'm nearly 3years and 14,000 miles into my multi ownership and although I'm on first names terms with the guys in the warranty repair department it's always got me home. But saying that I still wouldn't venture out with full European recovery wink

BOT - If it's dry I'm going to venture out on Monday. My plan is to head down to Hastings and tread the boards on the newly opened pier.
