Me thinks he's just come from a 600 or 750 to a 1000 and googled are 1000cc's more wicked than 600's or 750's.

Had both and love them both for different reasons- the 1000 obv for better torque and power but i think the 750 is a better road bike. It handles really really well and tbh has more than enough power for me on the road.

My current bike

I think my quoted quote was along the lines of "stupid and childish, I like it smile " I like it.

Maybe it depends on your usage? I'd go for the 1000 because of the torque, but if my journeys were mostly of the twisty-turny variety I'd probably go for the lighter 750. Had both BTW smile

750. It was great. The main thing for me was it really improved my confidence in riding quickly. Even a ham-fisted buffoon like me had his riding flattered by the bike.

On one occasion I took it up the highlands and had good fun chasing the Ferraris and Porsches owned by more wealthy friends. Blokes live their lives and never get those sorts of days out!

I sold after about two years because I had three bikes at the time, and was mostly doing distance on questionable roads, so it just wasn't used.

In all honesty though, I'd probably recommend the GSXR-1000 instead, I mean, no one ever looked back and said "I wish I'd bought the smaller one" did they?
