i work in a bike shop with a school attatched, a lot of schools bulk book test dates in the busy months then they have spaces available when customers book on.
i think mine cost me about 500 and it was 1 day cbt, half day mod 1 training then the test then full day mod 2 training then the test.
as long as your not a numpty you should get through it with a couple days training. i remember the kid whos mod 1 was right before mine failed before he even got on the bike as he didnt know how to do up his double d loop helmet ha. hed been riding a 125 on a cbt for 2 years and had never done his helmet up, beggers beleif
There was lad doing his A2 licence when I did my Mod 2. He couldn't do up the D-ring on his helmet either. On my test day we both did an hour's training with our instructor as test prep and then did our Mod 2. The instructor had warned us we would be tested on securing our lids. This kid fumbled on nervously but the examiner took pity and told him how to do it, instructing him. He'd been fluffing it all along and fooling the instructor too by tucking the loose strap away. He passed, as it happens. He'd also been riding for two years on a CBT and took his test just before her certificate expired.i think mine cost me about 500 and it was 1 day cbt, half day mod 1 training then the test then full day mod 2 training then the test.

If you can get booked on a course and pass yor test quickly, I still think you'd do well to watch Twist Of The Wrist 2 on Youtube and study the teaching in it. It contains loads of important stuff about bike control that barely comes in to passing your test, and is well worth the 90 minutes it takes to watch, especially if you have no prior biking experience (like no riding on just a CBT on your own).
