Has he really forgot how to fight?

The honda is difficult to ride and marquez is the only rider to have cracked it.

Maybe he's accepted that having the least amount of dnf's is going to get him the title not race wins.
He's far from cracking it, that bike looks almost unrideable. I think Marc would be winning like he was in 2014 if his bike was half decent.

Just caught up with the weekends racing, ( without hearing the result beforehand smile ).

What a venue , that place has it all , utterly stunning.

All three classes providing exciting unpredictable racing . From Moto3 with Fabio G who hasn't even scored a single point so far , going from way back on the grid to 2nd, Wow !

Massive cock up in Moto2 during the not so quick restart...plenty of arses getting kicked and rightly so . Well done to Sam for staying upbeat and bagging a hard fought podium.

MotoGP . Excellent start from Jorge ...Keep practising Vale wink,
. Really close racing , with tenacious rides from all. Edge of the seat stuff , right down to the line . Not sure what happened to Scotty ? Well done Bradders , finaly making an appearance in the new parc ferme clap

I didn't have a bucket list , but I might just consider starting one , with the Italian MotoGP being Number 1 smile
Scott had a red warning light come up on the dash, he rolled it off to see if it sorted itself which it didn't. He pulled in to save the engine, not knowing if anything was wrong. Turns out it was a water pump issue apparently. A shame as he was going well!

RE; mugello, Funnily enough, I thought exactly the same. Beautiful circuit, lovely weather, great racing across all classes and what seemed to be a fantastic atmosphere. See you there!hehe

Nah, you want a chainsaw (no chain, even the Italians aren't that mental) with a megaphone exhaust grafted onto it.

I was there, atmosphere was mental, has to be seen to be believed. Typical Italian organisation, but it's an experience for sure.

I went a few years back. It certainly is an experience, the Italians certainly aren't low key with their celebrations

This should be on everyone's bucket list. Brilliant racing, superb atmosphere and all set in fantastic countryside

I was in Mugello over the weekend and it's by far the craziest motor racing event I've ever attended. It makes the Bathurst 1000 seem like a WI tea party by comparison - and that was my previous gold standard for racing lunacy.

Literally the worst commentary, ever. Even for them. Every single thing they said was incorrect, inaccurate or inane. Even when they contradicted themselves it was wrong. Total fking idiots.

Such a shame about Rossi, Lorenzo deserved the win tho.
Just caught up on it.

Race ruined by Keith Mugged fking Huewen. What a fking spastic that man is! It's fking outrageous how angry listening to him makes me.

He's also such a rude fking to Julian Ryder as well. I'd love him to go Partridge and say "Oh just fk off" next time he cuts him off. Or vocally mugs him as he'd have it.

Aside from that, tremendous riding from Lorenzo. Why do people say he can't battle??

Shame for Rossi - he'll always be my favourite by Lorenzo earned that one.

fking Huewen! What a fking !

The new one that has creeped into the last two rounds is everyone has to be using something "like a berm" in a corner. It's not bloody motocross.

He was never this bad when he did World Superbikes in the 90s.

Agree with the above

Great racing spoilt by an irritating tt. I also find his manner quite rude to JR. Needs a fking good punch on the bugle to shut him up

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet but Lorenzo's lap times were all within a 1 second bracket for the whole race!? The guy is a machine. Such respect for his riding.

I think Marc's were also in the same range (excluding first lap and the last lap - which you also have to for Jorge)
And Rossi's were within 0.4 for the 8 laps he completed (exclude start lap as you have to for the others)
Marc also had to make several passes to get into 3rd.

They are 3 great riders.

Completely agree, more than 100k apparently were there on Sunday. Trying to get in, out, or move about I would agree. Campsite is more mental than Le Mans by a mile! You should have heard the abuse being thrown at Lorenzo when his engine popped in warm up. That said, on the podium, there was nothing but respect for Marc (maybe all the Rossi die hards had already gone home). Not so sure about Lorenzo, but personally I didn't heard that much booing/whistling.

The weirdest things were seeing a Dakar racing truck parked up on the campsite, chainsaw man, the djs/parties, people watching the racing from the roof of a marquee, people watching the racing from the roof of a toilet block (complete with three benches), the toilets themslves, the burnt wreckages of half a dozen pallets and three/bike frames. It's like Glastonbury meets the FA cup final.

And the scenary was stunning.

Seriously considering this for next year. Talked about it for too long now.

Riding there and back aside (would love to but it eats into available time too much), what's the best way to get there and the best place to stay? I was thinking fly into Italy and rent bikes?
