That was an exciting session and a great brief interview with Stoner.

Maverick is looking so fast and a win for Suzuki can't be far off. Amazing lap by Rossi and I wonder if Jorge had some minor bike issue. This has the making of a great race, the grid a little messed up and 4 manufacturers in the top 4....should be a good one.

Technical Regulations – Effective Immediately

Aerodynamic Wings – Moto3™ Class

In March of this year it was agreed that aerodynamic wings in the Moto2™ class would be banned immediately. It was also agreed that wings would be banned in the Moto3™ class from 2017.

Following a unanimous proposal from all Manufacturers in the Moto3™ Working Group, the Grand Prix Commission have confirmed that the ban on aerodynamic wings in the Moto3™ class will now be effective immediately."

From 11 May.

He was towed around by next years team mate.

If he had done that all on his own then yes that would of been impressive.
Not sure what lorenzo can do tomorrow as he's going to have to fight his way forwards , my money's on marquez to rough up the front row.

I didn't see it so thought Lorenzo was about 15th or so, he's 5th and if one man can put in an outrageous first lap then its him.

Money goes on Rossi though followed by someone else haha.
Hopefully everyone stays on this time so we can see what some of the others can really do.

To be fair during the start of their first runs it was the other way around, Vinales was being pulled round by Rossi. They just exited the pits the other way around on run 2.

There were a few times today too that Lorenzo was pulling Iannone round and had it on the pit board... Iannone was far quicker though and will be disappointed not to have pole considering his FP4 pace.

It's all about the start. Rossi has been starting poorly of late so will need to get it hooked up. I hope I'm wrong but my money is on Iannone leading into Turn 1. Set to be a great race regardless

Come on JRC, don't go being all sensible. Say anything positive about Rossi and you're a fanbois, a football thug, part of what's wrong with the sport..... (You're only allowed to be positive about stoner, Lorenzo, Marquez etc). Rossi gets 'magic Tyres' and any suggestion of someone disadvantaging him and its 'tinfoil hats'..... It's very funny stuff to be fair, I just hope it's intended to be funny or ironic.

You're right about this race, I can't see anyone getting away at the front so am hoping we have a 5 or 6 bike group fighting for the lead, I can't wait !

Nobodies calling anyone a fanboi, however it would be much more impressive if rossi had set the time on his own.

However he's on pole and he played the game and not done anything wrong.

I'm hoping marquez barges his way to the front and gives rossi a good fight, i don't really care who wins as long as the championship stays close .

My God egor110. You really do hate Rossi. I for one am delighted he's on pole. The bodyguard thing is plain daft, only stirring up more media coverage just in case any muppet might not have thought about attacking them. Tbh I'd have thought all riders would have had someone at this level.

I'm going to show some support for the Brits here. I reckon we'll have two in the top ten, also Crutchlow to finish the race. (I have not been drinking!)
