Hugely sad for the riders/drivers that have lost their lives this year at the TT, always love watching the event. The moments immediately before the starts remind me of early fighter pilots, all positivity but the nagging doubt you can sense that it might not go well. Brave, brave men.

Really enjoyed the racing this year, but nowhere near as much as I'm going to enjoy never seeing that bloke eat a pie again, most especially watching him for some reason weigh his fork between each mouthful.

I hope he gets really fat. There, I've said it.

What are Honda doing in the pits to be consistently so much quicker than all the other teams? There was a comment during the Senior race along the lines of 'some teams can pump fuel quicker than others' yet in theory they should all be the same.

Seems a bit odd. I suppose the Fireblade doesn't make the most power so perhaps uses less fuel.

hehe It was really irritating (especially the fork shaking thing) so I started watching every show 20 minutes late on Sky so I could fast forward through it.

The TT coverage was excellent, really couldn't ask for more. However the five deaths did cast a bit of a shadow on it for me, a particularly bad year in that respect.

Yes, absolutely agree!
Also when he was eating the 'tinned' pie there'd be a crunching noise accompanied by a small 'ting' where I assume the gentle raising and lowering of the fork struck...err....tin.
Gah!

3 things

Firstly massive respect and sympathy to all the riders family's on their losses :-(

Secondly huge respect to MD and Hutchy for their on track antics. Disappointed at the tetchy bh fest of Senior press conference, not a way to end a TT, I also see a tweet from Hutchy today saying despite the clarification about the scrutineer he still wants a personal apology. Hmm.

Lastly, I'm glad to know others were bothered by the Fray Horsos pies particularly the shaking fork...everytime fking time!!!! Rage quit!

Also who the fk eats a pie straight from the tin. Weirdo.

using plastic bags for petrol smile

oddly though why use pumps and not endurance style dispensers - just a tradition?

Respect for Hutchy has gone down a little bit after watching the press conference.
He has his gripes, well documented as they are, but I personally think a more grown up attitude would have been nice. Seemed rather petulant at the end of his questions.
He's gone down to a 7 in my book after that, not that he'll care...!
Wasn't a fan of JM dig about the 135 lap, either.
Would be nice if they could all just congratulate MD for being the best man, on the best bike, on the day.

On a side note, I'm sure no one cares and the more hardcore road racing fraternity have all but forgotten his name, but I think Guy Martin would have struggled to get anywhere at this years TT.
There's some seriously impressive lads in the top 10 now. Dean Harrisons' performances have really impressed me.

I'm honestly heartened to hear that others were annoyed by his up/ down fork antics too. Makes me feel much less like starting fires.

I'll still start them though, obviously. I've a standard to maintain.

Agreed.
It wouldn't be worth a return for GM.

Thanks FWD. Just watched it. Not quite sure what to make of it really. If Hutchy said what he said because it's true, that seems ok to me, but if it's just lashing out that seems odd. I thought he was milder, somehow. Maybe that's cos of his voice tho.

In summary, oh.

I don't give two sts what was said between who or why. Some girly responses on here haha wink

It was good racing and it would be a shame if either of them didn't want to participate next year.

Posturing. Pure and simple. They'll be back.
