Guys is there anywhere I can see highlights of the practice sessions or watch the races live? it kills me having to wait for ITV4's coverage to start (the feature programmes we're getting now are great but they should be showing some of the practice as well!) also waiting till 9pm to see the race highlights each day, and pretty much staying off the internet all day so I don't see the result!
Glorious weather over here on the island reflected in the quick times they are posting early in the week.
The Rcv sounds fantastic and I feel Bruce is holding back and it is capable of winning.
My man came off at the 32nd milestone on Monday night, air med to nobles.
Luckily he is OK,passed fit by the hospital and race control.
missed Tues night, but bike repaired and back out last night, still sore but enjoying it

Rather devastating. Apparently he went off to Paggetts to see if he could nab what they took off Bruce's bike

131.6 on a stocker! FFS
That's incredible.. As an aside, I just watched a rerun of Joey Dunlop at the Island on the RC45 in the Senior race. Looked sedate compared to todays riders....
Cracking film though, seeing the Castrol liveried Hondas and the Ducatis of Duffus et all. The mountain had more sheep than spectators and even the towns looked quiet. Amazing how much it's changed.....

The closeness of the speeds between superbike/superstock to me shows how close we are to the limit of what the course will allow, any extra power or racier spec above that of a superstock is barely an advantage now. I heard Rutter had his bike dialled right up only for him to find it too much and ask for the power to be turned back down!
Michael Dunlop seems to be properly on one! I take it back as didn't feel he was going to be quite there this year after an OK NW200, but from listening to him last night he certainly sounds committed.. though that always slightly scares me with him as his 'do whatever it takes' attitude worries me he'll take a risk too far.. Still think Hutchy may have the edge when it comes to race pace though.
Hoping Bruce's crash doesn't affect him too much as was really hoping we'd see him on a good day with that RCV, though falling off his superbike bodes well for him using the RCV in the senior as coming off may have dented his confidence in the super.
Good to hear the Norton is really shifting :-)
And ta to Fourwheeldrift for the camera/coverage feed!

What the fk is wrong with people? Really? The first two were racing and the second two just lost their fking minds. That's why I avoid large groups of bikers. There's idiot in every crowd but usually they cant kill you through stupidity. Unlike these clowns. st parking too, entirely predictable that any mishap was going to involve the van. It's a stupid place to park up.

I don't think (from my understanding) the power levels were played with (not massively possible on an N/A engine, is it?) but I think Rutter requested the T/C calmed down a bit, then after trying that setting asked for it to back to how it was, coming in a bit sooner.
Sorry you may well be right, I only heard it very briefly so may have got my info wrong, I wondered if they had a couple of engine modes but may have just been taking about TC..Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
