told them that already. Will ask to see invoice if claimed for they say!! WTF that's with ageas.

Laguna price I think excludes the Akra race can that comes with the anniversary model, at £559.

SO my £15300 all in is not too bad.
No they won't. They'll replace it with a brand new bike if you crash it in the first 12 months of ownership, as long as it was brand new and you are the first owner. They will do that for considerably less than £15300 too.

After 1 year the bike will be worth a lot less than £15300 anyway.

Just get the shop to give you a written p/ex valuation on the new bike, at the end of the day you'll get less than that anyway unless you're financing with gap cover. The valuation on that bike for the day you ride it out of the showroom and return it for sale, will be 12 at best.

Go for the 1299.
Is it better? It's more expensive. R1 seems to get better reviews for road use and track?

It was top of my list as I am a twin man, but was pretty smitten with the R1.
Well I have older version with the same exhaust note I'm running a full akrapovic system and manifold and its fooking loud but sounds truly epic. All being said though the 1299 is gorgeous and opening the garage (if I had one) and seeing it would get me Horny. Whilst I'm not a 'hater' of the new R1 styling it can't hold a candle to the Ducati and seeing as they are very close that would swing it for me.
