Couldn't see one of these so thought I'd while away Friday afternoon.

As I was supposed to homeless at the end of May I haven't really organised anything at all but as house situation is now sorted I find myself at loose end.

So my options seem to be

World Superbikes at Donington
World Rallycross at Lydden
Club stuff at Snetterton
Bike Shed Custom Bike Show in London
Plain ole ride to the coast (Sunday looking cheeriest on the weather)

Anyone else doing bikey stuff this weekend?

I'm off to SBK at Donny Sunday.

Bit of tinkering on the bike also in order.

I collected my bike from the dealer this morning, running perfectly again. Now it's back in the garage and not coming out until next weekend at the earliest.

I'll be cleaning my bike at some point. Been riding the thing all week and its been mostly dry save for weds evening. However I still need to keep on top of it and keep it looking as nice as I can given its a year round daily commuter Speed Triple. An OCD clean would be pointless since it get s**ted up the next time its ridden in the rain.

Hoping to get out on some ride out at some point as my best biking mate finally has a bike and some insurance now smile Not sure its going to be this weekend though.

Service on the GS including replacing the brake pads, finished them off at Brands Hatch last night...yes I took the GS on track.

Might take a ride to the coast too, or I may just go to the pub.

I've got a ferry booked to Bilbao for me and my bike, my only plan at the moment is to meet some friends In Germany the following weekend.

The rest of the week will be mountains, sun and the open road woohoo

Be careful with France at the mo – my Dad's had his ride to Corsica scuppered this week by fuel strikes. He's settled for a week in Belgium instead. Er…

As for me, I've just fitted a Sena to my girlfriend's helmet, so we'll probably go out for a ride to see if we can hear each other!

Nope, might go and look at some overpriced old Fords parked in a field but definitely none bikey, again.

A mate and I are headed for some of the best roads in Scotland over the next couple of days. A tiger 800 and an R1 sound like an odd mix but it should be a laugh.

Not sure now. Chatted to a mate who has been before and he said it was a bit too 'Shoreditch Lifestyle' what with the checked shirts, tattoos, beards and barbers etc

I went to the Revival custom show at the Austin MotoGP in Texas last year and that was great, free to get in (as opposed to £18), free wall of death show and varied visitors from sportsbike riders, thru Harley chaps to the retro hipster blokes and it seemed fairly inclusive. Bikeshed thing looks in danger of disappearing up itself.

Different kind of biking this weekend - MAMIL kind of biking. To much French food has meant i am struggling to get into my leathers as of late.

Good effort! I looked in to going last minute too but it had filled up, probably owing to the cracking weather you had.

Off to Silverstone on Monday instead now for a go at the National circuit, then TT early as fk on Thursday morning!
