Is anyone on here an average (or worse) rider?
Discussion
Having read quite a few threads over the past few months, I'm amazed at some of the stuff being discussed and the level that many of you seem to ride at.
Are you all genuinely this good, or is there a bit of overstating ability going on?
I expect no end of pisstaking now, but it is a genuine question.

Terrible. I used to be ok at off road riding, but found it hard to utilise those skills on the road. I don't do enough to progress to a decent level and am now crap off road as its been so long. Friends get tired of waiting for me and I don't enjoy taking risks. I should give it up but I absolutely love motorbikes.

Pretty much the same here, except I'm st off road too. I would also say I'm an average rider, can ride at a decent pace and negotiate most bends with a decent amount of speed, but I am always learning and try to learn from my riding errors when out. The new bike has helped improve my cornering so much as it has so much front end grip, it allows me to push on but gives enough feedback to tell me I'm pushing my luck.
Never been on track so I'm likely to be sh*t and out of my depth and comfort zone.
