I'm a bit of a lurker in here. Started my DAS about 4 years ago now but failed (ashamedly) the theory and never got around to resitting it.

Finally got it booked so am attemting again tomorrow morning, wish me luck.

Once that is out the way I'll be doing 3 Saturdays on the trot with my local school to get back up to speed again and then get a test booked in.

Don't machine-gun-click those hazards.
Good luck!

That's the bit I dislike the most.

I think I lost a few points clicking too early.
You get a fair few spare to play with so engage those spidey senses (OMG, wobbly cyclist!!) and enjoy it.

When I did my bike test I got 47/50 and 68/75 or whatever it was.
After 2 years of riding and being used to hazards when I came to do my car, I got 44 and 48 respectively! I got done for clicking "too much" (genuine hazards). Oh well haha

I'm sure you'll be fine mate, just relax and treat it like another practise test.

The hazard perception is rubbish, and what's worse is that the official training package is a poor comparison to the actual test.

Got mine on Monday morning and CBT tomorrow. A bit nervous as when I took my car test in 1978 there was no such thing! I have been practising a lot on the app so hopefully it will pay off. Once I get those two done I can do the DAS. I will look into Saturday training as the training schools I have looked into only do Sunday-Wednesday

Don't know if you are asking the OP or me. I want to get a cruiser as I am too old to be a speed freak but don't know if.a Triumph Speedmaster/America is a stupid first bike. I need to find out if I can still ride a bike and like it first!

Either, it is getting complicated and expensive to get your licence now.

Never owned a bike like that so not really the right person to give you advice on what it is like, but it does look ok to me for a first bike for what it is worth.

Good luck! On a lot of the questions I found there are 2 you can immediately discount, then one that is the actual thing written in the highway code, and the other looks like common sense, but isn't technically right.

Afternoon all,

nope, binned it.

48 in multiple choice and 42 in hazzard perception. So close and yet so far. Haven't got time next weekend so will have to be the weekend after for resit. Bugger.

Sounds like a lucky escape for inattentive mums with prams, stray dogs and car door openers everywhere.
