Well done ben the thundercats just as good as the cbr just not as well made , I think they are a bit cheaper on insurance as well

Congrats

The thundercat is a great 1st bike, had one for a year, very quick, comfy, handles well enough, stops very well, no problems at all.

M8 of mine had a 'cat when I had a CBR. Cat is more comfortable with more of a 'sit in' rather than 'sit on' riding position. Cat didn't handle as well & felt a bit soggy to me. Finish on Cat is not as good as the CBR (but then not much beats a Honda for finish).

Edited to say well done

Congratulations Ben! Passed mine yesterday (3rd time lucky - bloody U-turns!)
Got an SV650S coz insurance on anything else seemed to cost 2 limbs!

Congrats to all Thundercat a very underated bike as used prices reflect, a very good buy for people in the know, every bit as quick, if not quicker for a newby due to it's compliant nature, if your considering doing a little track work though I would go for the CBR as it's more focussed than the thundercat in that department yet not as extreme a some other 600cc sports bikes, good ridin all.
