Today I saw what I now realise is a Mercedes GLE Coupe, in red.

I can't point to a thing I like, it's as if every single thing about it is wrong.

A friend of the family was trying to work out exactly what it was that she did not like about her 7 series beemer.
She agreed with me when I told her the only thing missing was a 3 pointed star on the bonnet.
Merc chasing the X6 which is equally fugly

At first glance I thought that WAS an X6 which some comedian had enhanced with a three-pointed star!

The back end of the new Prius.
Genuine double take, I thought someone was part way through building a Prius-based 50's Yank car.
On closer inspection there were clearly three design streams and the powers that be signed off all three, the factory did their best to incorporate all three designs in one car

BMW X6, X4, 3 and 5 series GT (especially with their wky spoiler), and the Prius.

All massively fugly. Actually, the 5 series GT rear end did resemble that of the Prius!

But, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What I hate someone else will think is amazing: Just like that tt Boris Johnson ☺

Like it, and the X6.

But this Merc has lost it's Merc-ness, the rear is "CBA" - could be anything.

It has to be the Proton Savvy. And they still sell them. Prices start at £7995. Who would part with the best part of eight grand for this? I nearly ran into the back of one because I was too busy staring at it!

Brilliant - when I read the title of your thread this car was the first thing I thought of!
I saw one the other day - nicely finished in "look at me a moron" white with added chrome bling and it was so monumentally ugly I stopped in my tracks and took a photo ( I was going to post it on here but was too difficult to link to my photo).

Mercedes make some fab cars but this model is just a complete turd of a car what on earth would make someone walk into a showroom and think - Yep that's the one for me ?!

Yesterday I saw a BMW X4 for the first time (also in Look at Me white) and it was slightly less ugly than this but equally pointless and a stupid model that could only have been thought up by the marketing people. Yuk.

At a quick glance, the BMW 5 GT registers in my head as a normal BMW that has had some sort of hard rear end shunt. Not helped by the fact the light clusters on the body and tailgate seem to bear no relation to each other.

Tragic looking thing IMHO.

You should blame the people who buy BMW X6s and not BMW.

What the hell is going on at Toyota to make anyone think they look good? I'm not normally bothered too much about looks but I'd genuinely look at a less capable alternative if it looked better (hard not to) I was in the market for something like that.
