Only a 8 mile commute. Thankfully not through any towns or city traffic so I'm pretty much moving the whole time, other than occasionally at the 1 set of traffic lights I pass through, or waiting at a few roundabouts.

AGV K3 Lid
Merlin Rowan waxed cotton jacket with the inner lining removed and vents open.
Regular jeans.
Dainese Ergotour GTX gloves. Which are surprisingly cool.
Merlin G24 Enduro boots.
With some old Helly Hansen waterproof trousers in my backpack should it rain.

Brogues, chinos and a reasonable Tyrwhit shirt with sleeves rolled up.
Spada motorcross gloves and my rather aged Caberg flip front lid, mostly worn open with a pair of Oakleys.

But I am on a scooter so nothing bad can happen, right?

Actually right now I'm butt naked on the bed with an iPhone and a women's face mask.

These days I'm commuting in a shirt, trousers and smart shoes and a Ford Focus. Fridays are casual, so Jeans and a t shirt. I only have a 2.5 mile commute and there's not much traffic to speak of so it's not really worth taking the bike unless I'm going somewhere on it after work.

Summer school holidays: the one time of year you can drive around in London in a car as the traffic is so light.

Dainese mesh jacket (which is fantastic)
A* ankle boots
Furygan summer gloves

Still gets very hot at the lights but it's bearable.

2 piece leathers, boots, gloves and back protector. Gets pretty warm in traffic but there are some real fast roads on my commute so theres no way i would chance it with less

Hood Kevlar jeans
Furygan leather jacket with no vents
A* SMX6 goretex

Basically, my normal summer commuting/riding gear.

I have enjoyed peeling my leather jacket off after a 35 minute commute the last 2 evenings... nuts

A smile, my watch, and Sidi rain evos. I find naked gear changes too painful.

Just got back from a mini Euro-tour of Belgium, Holland, Germany and Luxembourg.

I was about as cool as I could manage and I was still boiling - Rokker "Revolution" jeans (which are ace, by the way), Styl-Martin Indian Laces boots (I don't like wearing bike gear off the bike) and a semi-mesh Akito jacket. Yesterday I did contemplate riding from Bastogne to Zebrugge without a jacket. It wasn't the falling off that bothered me, it was the sunburn risk. That was one of the most uncomfortable rides ever - underseat pipes on an F4 and after an hour my arse was on fire.

The Dainese Air jacket I bought on eBay two years ago has finally come out of hiding and it rocks, it's like wearing a t-shirt on the bike but retains the protection. Still wearing leather bottoms and decent boots but the jacket ventilation keeps you cool.

I changed jobs last year and now work 10 miles away and use my own vehicle, I take the car as its a 15 minute journey down a twisty B road and the car is good fun to drive and has brilliant AC, it actually takes longer to go on the bike once I have spent 10 minutes getting the bike out and kitting up at each end, and it wakes all the staff up at 7am so doesn't make me Mr popular, so I hardly ever do unless I am wanting to take the long way home, which I don't as its usually raining biggrin

Rokker jeans (expensive but worth it)
Revit short boots
Held desert gloves
Either a perforated leather Vanson sport jacket or Knox Zephyr mesh jacket. Depending if its just hot for UK (twenties) or "fooking hot" abroad (plus 30C)
Helly hansen lifa t-shirt
Shark Evo-One to get some fresh air at lower speeds

A colleague told me I was going to literally die wearing my jacket in the heat yesterday afternoon.

I said I'd rather literally die than lose the skin off my back.
You sure showed him.

Nice medium level of rain fell with perfect timing to greet my morning commute to work - back to full kit again, didn't last long of course and its bone dry outside now I'm sat in the office.

I sure did, and I was still smiling to myself as he climbed into his air conditioned Audi. What a sucker ey...

I will admit I went with zero gear apart from the helmet and gloves yesterday for a client meeting. The hefty back sweat patch isn't a great look.
