Are we doing this wheelie school or wit!

I dropped out of this thread after it transcended into a lot of fking ste, as is the way with BB these days.

I did feel like bumping this thread in 14 years time but sadly I don't own a TVR.

Dunno. I just got back from the vets in Fife with a £6,000 vet bill so I'll give you a shout tomorrow once I've worked out if I can remove one of my kidneys...

Believe it or not it's actually great news. I'd been told he was needing two hips and two knees at a rough cost of £14,000 + VAT. Saw the surgeon yesterday and he is confident he's "just" ruptured his cruciates (seems more serious in dogs), so that means we're down to £3,000 a side. The first knee is hopefully covered by insurance.

More important than money, "TPLO", is a fairly major surgery but carries a 95% success rate. Prognosis is almost 100% of previous activity, which sounds almost too good to be true. He goes under the knife for the first knee this morning.

I think in practice with dogs, if you have one, you do everything to look after them and financial acumen goes out the window.

Besides, I've just trained him to jump at my mate's balls on command. It's fking hilarious.

At least the waiting times seem better than on the NHS, been waiting 8 months for my ACL/PCL/MCL surgery.

I'd be up for a day out at 'wheelie school' especially if its up north, even on a bandit 1200 mine have always been a pretty poor show.

Well, just for a giggle I decided to stick some air in the tyres on my old mountainbike and have a go at wheelies on my brekkie run this morning.. with my laptop and phone in the backpack to help counterbalance..

Guess where this finished up rolleyesweepinglaugh
