bikes on pavement

can you park your bike on the pavement overnite legally as i live in atop floor flat and wheeling a bike up 4 flights of stairs is not an option and i'd rather not leave it on the street in case some dozy tw*t knocked it over?

No (unless its private property, even then I think they can book you for obstructing the pavement).Best you can hope for is a sympathetic Warden
