With just over a week to go, I thought I'd start up a separate thread for it rather than trawl through the general trackday one.

Who's going then? I'm currently booked in for both the Sat & Sun but made a concerted attempt to cut the top of my right thumb off yesterday so the only thing certain for me atm is drinking beer (carefully).



Reminder to Fleegle - don't forget to look for those 4XV wheels (and any other R1 spares you trip over) when dragging out ze Ninjas.

Hmm... Sounds like you should sit this one out MT. Opposable thumbs are critical for holding beer cans. If you like, I'll buy your Sat/Sun place :-)

I'm in, both days, booked pretty much once Tony mentioned it shortly after Jerez back in March....shall be bringing a chap called Simon with me, one or two of you may know or may have known him, not a bad lad actually...
Sorry to hear about your thumb John, must be fairly serious for you to be doubting your riding ability - I hope it improves significantly over the week, but if any doubt remains I would post up as soon as you know for sure as I'm sure Dan (Redback911) will gladly have the days from you if beer swilling is the only option - worth risking a one day option in advance ?
We can all hopefully meet up Fri/Sat nights, don't post up the digs location anybody, just use PM/text/talk amongst selves,those known to each other, for obvious bike security reasons.

Can't wait - looks like we may be getting the right weather for it too - sorry MTB , you shall be in our thoughts as the slicks and sun cream are applied ! Yeeehaaa

Who else was going on this? If we can get 10 names together we can reserve a garage.

Last month when I went on a Saturday the garages were chocca by 7am. I ended up being in the car park

I'm on the old faithful S1000 still Jon, hard habit to break ( should be interesting to have rear rebound actually functional now - hoping for much improvement !)

How many 'extra' bodies can your extra buddies provide in addition to you and Simon? We need another 4 names to bump us up to 10 so Tony can lay claim to a garage.

Couldn't go if I wanted, its Bens wedding on the Saturday and my birthday on Friday so no one is gonna be in a fit state to ride motorbikes.

I'll be there Sat with a couple of mates as defo but there may also be some track SV650's. Last time they set up Gazebos, if there is space we will come to garage 2 if we are invited. If not, no bother and I will come and say hello.

Garage 2 was reference to my overflow garage and not Snett.

Once we find out which garage. come over and say yarp anyway. We don't bite

Ps my HM Plus quick-shifter seems to be playing up so if anyone has one and will be there on a similar bike, I might have a peak at your kill-time settings to see how far out mine are.
