John ( and Jon ) , not quite the same vibe as usual - my weekend was a non-starter...I shall write up my little saga over the weekend ...if I can get my the fingers on my right hand to start working properly by then ...
My physical condition ( inability to brake) brought me in after 5 laps ... to find the pooling fork oil around one fork leg , caliper , wheel and tyre ...which would certainly have had me off had I got going in normal fashion ....
Good company, food and ( eventually !) drink though ...!

Nice One Grahame. Get Simon to write his thoughts up then change you name in your quote to LoonR1 so it looks like he's still here.

Graham, if you find you are tripping over Snoon's old R1 and are keeping the Beemer for track stuff then please remember I am on the lookout for a 5VY R1. I was having to try quite hard at one point when something green & chuckling came past before thinking 'I'm not having that!' and extracting one's finger.

Will do Jon - I must say , prior to writing my report - the high point of the weekend and a truly entertaining 20 mins was the last session on Sat . , with you leading out for a good few laps , making progress on the guy in front , but Tony making steady incremental gains on you and then about 6 laps in , passing you , leading for a couple of laps and gaining on the guy ahead, you passing him back and both of you passing the other guy and totally smooth , steady and flowing from where we were watching .....which I know it wasn't according to Tony later - a few shapes being made here and there each - was ace !

It's the last time I admit the tyre is finished and request 'no funny business' off of Tony! It did ensure the first pint of the evening tasted good despite being Budweiser.

I doubt it Neil. Work is going to be solid until my holiday, that takes us up to November. I don't fancy Cadwell too much at that time of year. I'll be waiting for all the Euro days to be announced for '17
