Vespa GTS engine cutting out.
Discussion
My GTS300 has seen little use since I moved to the sticks but with the Summer weather I've been using it for my commute into London.
30 miles of country roads and A roads with the last 7 miles being in the cut and thrust of London traffic.
Ridden motorbikes for 35 years but this is my first scooter. Had it a year and has been fine so far but now after the fast bit of the commute, when it's nicely warmed up, it will cut out, quite often, on a closed throttle.
Makes it interesting to ride as you decelerate then go for a gap in traffic and nothing happens, realise what has happened, thumb the starter, carry on.
Takes the fun out of it somewhat and has put me off using it. Bought it well cheap, it's a 2009 250 with an engine swap to a 300 as the previous owner didn't know what the oil light was for.
Can't see any obvious holes or wear in the rubber that attaches the fuel injection to the cylinder, so any ideas as I don't really want to spend a pile of cash on it.
Cheers
