A swift boot to push them over and some justice by the public is what's needed, but not worth the risk - especially if they're the same lot who threw acid at the guy who tried to stop them. fkers furious

Same black yamaha TMAX, plate is also for a TMAX but a silver one... so they're copying plates from other bikes.

Would it be hard to put up exact place and time when having such footage?...

And yes, to push, run over etc... if everyone would be that sharp to react-understand what's going on...

Yes, decent footage would help to neutralize, also to make few, that read intrwebz be more aware

and in his case avoid fines for speeding, but catching engineers in the act
https://youtu.be/vW7t-_W3G9A

at least decent write up here

Thu 4 August 2016 approx. 00:30 hrs. Streatham Common North (London SW16), heading east toward Crown Point/Crystal Palace. I detected a m'bike or scooter coming up close behind me (you can see it in my right-hand mirror) so slowed to let it pass. This yob with a female pillion passenger pulled up alongside me shouting across at me to pull over, then saying he was going to take my bike. I accelerated hard to get away. He chased me for almost two and a half miles as we both jumped lights at junction, even nearly crashing his own bike. No actual crime occurred thankfully ('coz I got away!), but still reported it to police. If you're riding a nice scooter/m'bike through Streatham/Norwood/Crystal Palace area, be aware of other bikes around you, and lookout for this muppet and attempted bike-jacker!.

:EDITED:
as very fairly somebody called BS on this one- clearly nothing to do with gangstas stealing the bikes or robbing. Rider (of the footage) had done something beforehand to encourage "the word" from other riders, explained by no sound or rozzers not doing much about it.

....................................................................................

too many similarities https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8x6Veqe7Zw
(hard to be getting everyone asking for common sense- to recognize where, when etc)
number plate seems similar? (L84 OTK)?

They are taking plates from bikes parked up in bays.

Seems to me RJ has performed a public service and it is no wonder he was a little spooked if these guys are throwing acid. So I guess it's visor down in these situations. Well done for reversing to see the number plate. Somebody out there knows who these individuals are.

^ Description is wrong... The crooks weren't trying to start the bike, stealing it by pushing it is the standard procedure.

Never park your bike without a disc lock on. At least that will stop these fk faces from pushing it away.

I guess you haven't seen the other videos with them cutting off the disk locks prior to pushing the bike away?

Someone must recognise them, especially the scrote with the Roof helmet as he's fairly distinctive.

With a bit of luck someone will have a proper 'word' with him and bring about a significant reduction in bike crime...

' Its a little tiresome seeing these "police don't give a f***" comments. As a copper and a biker I would love to get my hands on these scammers, but given if I even attempt to pursue a moped I will be looking at losing my job at the very least even before the possibility of one of the darlings coming off their bike is taken into account and I'm charged with death by dangerous driving. We are completely powerless thanks to senior officers, government officials and the influence of the lefty media, but please don't take it out on PCs on the street

Nice one clap

You must know that the 'Police don't give a...' type comments are not only referring to the Police, rather the justice system but most people's view of the law is the Police, being normally the first point of contact.

For example camera vans, they may not be staffed by Police? but unfortunately the name 'Police' appears on them so it's not helpful in boosting your public image.

I hope you do get your hands on them (although many might prefer that someone not bound by rule of law gets hold of them first).

Unfortunately - Police don't give a fk, refers to the 'organisation's culture'. It's even more tiresome being on the receiving end of this attitude when a victim of crime, or witnessing a crime. In spite of personal conversations with PCs, PSs and my retired Inspector uncle, what we see is the policing that they are allowed to do rather than what they'd like to do. The media have a lot to answer for - the left wing media panders to the scum. The right wing media cries for action, then hammers the police if they do act heavily/properly. Judges, CPS, home office - all add to the problem.

The police pander to and validate the scum bags' cries of foul play by engaging and running enquiries etc. when it should be - You had an illegal gun, you're a drug dealer, you got shot by the police. End of story, no action needed. You stole a bike, you had no helmet, you ran from the police, you crashed and died. End of story, no action needed.

The net result is the same though and eventually the zero fks given by senior management, pervades the interactions with the public that many front line police officers have.

Hence, following personal experience of bike theft, lead theft, mugging, assault, criminal damage, burglary and vandalism - my conclusion is that the police don't give a fk. "Here's your crime number - next"

not these sprats, these aren't caught yet - on carrier path up, but £50 for a job?...

Also, well pointed out detail of passenger holding his hand in a pocket of the driver.

Surely RJ isn't even aware how lucky he is not to have been stabbed!

You shot one, it wasn't a thru-and-thru and you couldn't get the lead back?
