Just witnessed A Bike Theft - GS1200 Berkeley Sq - HN16 ***
Discussion
I was a London despatch rider for about 8 years, back in the mid/late 80’s. Everytime I got off my bike to enter a building, I’d leave the ignition key in the switch, and in all those years, no one swiped my bike. Even back then it was a silly risk to take, but I was stupid/lazy enough to take that risk, plus I was riding CX500/GT550’s with 50k mileage, so doubt anyone would have wanted to nick those, I think that was my main justification. Shows how times have changed though.

Flip-front helmet leaving them a prime candidate for a punch in the face with some plastic knuckles... dugsud said:
I'm not the only one thinking that's what they need then! One day they'll try to nick a bike from the wrong person...
As much as everyone would like to be Chick Norris, even the toughest of hard men will struggle when confronted with three, or more, feral youths fighting back. Gavia said:
