Vapour blasting is the one revelation I've took from this spruce up!

Excellent project. These are climbing in value pretty quick so a smart move too.

New Screen, Mirrors, plus new bolts and rubbers for top fairing mount, i found some Fast Bike grips from the 90's, not sure about those though!

Great work - apart from those grips, in a 90's bin is were they belong :-)

I never took any real notice of RGV's when they were current but looking at them now I think they look stunning.

I would like to have one alongside a 250/350 lc.

Brummie congrats on your rgv! It looks lovely! If my bike looks half as good as yours il be very happy! I might need to bend your ear for some advice at points during my build. Andrew

Not convinced about the white wheels, they remind me of something......

Lol at gunk. White wheels will also be a pain to keep clean but in my opinion they look better with that colourscheme than black or any other colour

Well she's finished, I'm putting her on the rollers tomorrow, it rides sooo much better thanks to all the mods, revs harder and faster, brakes and suspension/tyres totally transformed the handling.

There's a Dyno in Meriden, next village along from me, it made 54bhp when I first bought it pre strip, I'm hoping for 60ish..

Puts mine to shame.

Was the screen an original part? Seen a few on ebay but unsure of their fit

It is actually an eBay screen, I fitted it but had to use a hot air gun to relieve the curve to the fairing shape.
