I bought two of these for 500 quid about 4 years ago, they had sat outside in a guts back garden for years!
Blue and white and red and white one. They were covered in green moss! I put fresh fuel in them both and the blue and white one fired up first kick in my shed the day i bought it! Can was off and when it fired up i st myself as i was doing it half heartedly expecting nothing.
The red and white ine wasn't having it, took exhaust chambers off and one rattled? Yep, half a valve in it!!
I remember valves were really expensive at that time, dont know the situation now though.
I restored two of them at same time, loved the experience, wouldn't mind doing it again.

Awesome. I've never ridden a 2 Stroke as I only started riding bikes in 2009. How much does one of these go for nowadays??

Done the jetting, leaner on the top richer on the bottom, a misfire manifested itself, faulty cap so renewed all plugs and caps, she's a little flyer now!

What mains are you running?
And do your carbs have the wot power jet??
34mm versions do.

250/260 with a pipercross race filter, went from 1.1 to 1.0 on the pilot air jets to richen up the bottom, much smoother pulling away, suspect it has a kit SAPC as it has marker pen writing on it, that is kit code, but unless I get it tested I won't ever know. Standard carbs for a UK bike.

Are the side by side pipes better for tuning than staked (GP style), or was it just preference?

Kit SAPC curves aren't that different as it only affects the pv curve, air solenoid pcm and ignition timing and usually that's only by a few degrees at the top.
Speak to Sean at the Tuning Works and he might be able to tell you which unit you have.
Also there's a ton of different SAPC's for different countries models and the usual JDM restricted versions so it might not be a kit version after all. There's also a few different kit versions so who knows. But if it is the full avgas and Sugaya pipe version you'd know 😂
Regards the jetting the mains seem in the ballpark but check if the carbs have the supplementary power jet. Easy to see as it's a tube that comes out of the float bowl and runs up the side of the carb body then goes back in at a point just below the slide bottom when it's in the fully raised position.
If you have these check the jet values as fitted in the float bowl. Should be a 54 and a 30 something. If these are wrong you are very likely to have a seizure at prolonged wot. Ask my titanium left wrist how I know this 🤣
Also check if you have both of the air solenoid circuits connected as these have a massive impact on the overall jetting as they allow secondary air into the carb to weaken the mixture at various rpm and tps points. Many people disconnect the low end valve to stabilise the bottom end jetting.

It'll be fine.
