£4636 for my new 2016 Suzuki SV650S - 70hp, fairing, great looks, great frame, nice handling, V-twin - £1000 cheaper than an MT07.

+1 for the old bus! They sound great with some Yoshimura's on and when you turn up at a bike meet you get to explain that no; it's not a GSXR...

A fair few colours to choose from and a bit of a cult following - more so in the US
I do love the look and sound of the TLR. Prices seem to creep up every time I look at the classifieds though.

A good clean used SV1000 must be one the biggest bargains, no more expensive than an equivalent 650

There was a naked mint SV1000 with GSXR suspension and brakes on ebay that went for £2k recently. That must have been a lot of bike for the money.

Any new GSXR with a bit of haggling is a great deal at the moment... Dinosaurs, but priced well!

The 750 is a great deal on PCP, it was 0% recently. Brilliant real world sports bike.

Speaking of dinosaurs, a ZZR1100 at the really cheap end of the market (sub £1k) is astonishing value. Yes it's a bus which requires strong positive input for going round corners, but for getting on it, riding as long distance quickly and getting off feeling fresh, it's a beaut.
It's also still no slouch (especially if the previous owner has put the ZX7 carbs on it.....)
