I've spent some time looking at their website over the years but never actually purchased anything.
In the last week I've made 2 trips down to their Guilford store and spent a healthy 4 figure sum with them and have been pretty impressed! When you turn up, they offer teas/coffees and it seems to be properly made which is nice.
The chaps have been really knowledgeable on all their stock. My only criticism is that on both occasions there haven't been enough staff and visits take longer than they should!
Right - what else do I need?!

Can I recommend you get some Rokker stuff - I decided to go very trendy on my F4 this year so have been tooling round in some Rokker Revolution jeans, a Rokker Cafe Racer jacket and some Styl-Martin Indian Laces boots. Not to mention an AGV Corsa with an LCD visor.
Just awesome stuff - and when I get off the bike there's none of this bulky textiles/leathers hanging round my arse or sleazy ski boot lookalikes.

I love places where they give you a cup of tea on arrival (provided they also have customer toilets). Do they also give you some biscuits?I bought some Sidi Deep Rain boots from them, and must admit they were a bit more "retail focused" than some places I've been. Ie it was a bit more like being in a shop where your clothes purchase was meaningful to the owner, rather than being just another "sightseer" in a bike shop.

The only thing was they could be a tiny bit mroe organised, their stock system told them the item I wanted was in stock, but they couldn't find it round the back to start with, and only when it looked like I'd be leaving without spending, did they have a better look, and let the system prove them right that they did have a pair in stock, just not in the right place!
If you're into retro style clothing (I'm not, they just happened to be Sidi stockists with what I wanted displayed on their website) they seem to have a good selection of stock.

Their website about us section says, if I remember correctly, that their customer typically has outgrown the sports bike period. I read that as 'older with more money' I turned up there late on a week day just for a look and they couldn't have nicer or more helpful. Also had a lovely cup of coffee and some cracking home made biscuits! They took their time explained things to me, as I was in the process of getting back in bikes after quite a few years out, let me try different things with no pressure to buy or leave as it was late in the day. So when I did buy my new crash helmet guess where I went?

I can also highly recommend Motolegends, after using some very old gear (as in 25 year old Dainese and Furygan jackets etc) I spent a couple of hours there being thoroughly educated on the advances in biker clothing technology and now I've got some Rokker Revolution jeans and a Halvarssons Panzar jacket along with the belt adapter so I can join them together, very clever and incredibly comfortable!
I will be back there soon as I have a feeling I 'need' another jacket

This is an excellent tip, thank you. I've always bought from the online store but have been often anxious about just turning up in case they didn't have my size and getting funny looks or them taking the piss out of me. Yep, very close and up the road a left and right and on a bit and you have Destination Triumph. The three together make quite a pleasant way to waste a few hours. SS7
