Go on then, I'm biting like a goat on cheese.

Anyway, if your talking alcohol in Surrey, it should be Martini or something equally classy, Ver Moouth.
This has made me very happy. I hope it also cheers, The Moose.

I agree. It's the kind of ruling that keeps us moving forward as a people. It's basically protection against veers, The Moose.

I'm glad we're all on the same page. I'd hate to have found that I'm exchanging internet opinions with people who were concealing their true personae behind thin veneers, The Moose.

Exactly. Because people like us simply don't have the time to even countenance the smears, The Moose. But, I suppose that's why this place is so revered, The Moose. It's goes so much deeper than just being CRB cleared, The Moose.

Perhaps we should hand this thread back to the OP. It feels like it's been running for years, The Moose. I'd hate it to end in tears, The Moose. But we could always revisit it if the opportunity appears, The Moose?

That's a good idea. I'd hate to our input to result in jeers or leers, The Moose. For myself, I''m only ever aiming for cheers, The Moose.

I'm definitely missing something here. Should I get a whoosh parrot thingy or am I just unfamiliar with some history?

I think it's a deafness thing. Im not sure, I'm a bit luggy myself. You'd probably best ask someone who hears, The Moose.

That's one of your best ideas, The Moose. I'd hate to our input to result in jeers or leers, The Moose. For myself, I''m only ever aiming for cheers, The Moose.

My wife went ready to spend money. She was met with an unfriendly comment upon arrival followed by a patronising salesman. Couldn't get out fast enough.

Hmm, ladies are usually offended when a salesman leers, The Moose.

Astonishing that sexism can still exist after all these years, The Moose.

I've always had first class service from them BUT recently I'm far from impressed.
Having picked up a set of Rukka and gone with their specialists suggestion on the trouser length I ended up with a rather wet boot.
"Yes sir - the armour is in exactly the right place, the length is good for walking around in , etc, etc, etc"
No - the length isn't good - it rides up to the point that there is barely an inch between the bottom of the trouser and the top of the boot when on the GS.
So your recommendation of the length was very wrong.
Went back and frankly was made out by "Charlie" to be stupid as obviously Sean the salesman knew better than me how long the leg needs to be.
Sean wasn't there but I was assured he would call me back as they couldn't possibly do anything to rectify the issue as Sean sold me the items so only he knew what was said during the sale.
Really? The f@@@in things are too short - it is really easy to see that when I walked in wearing them with the right leg half way up!
Cue "Steve" coming outside after I'd left in a not very good mood to ask if there is anything I can do?"
Yes Steve - change the bloody trousers for the longer length!
"Well they are 3" longer on the standard length and only about 10% of people have the "standard leg length"...."
Don't care - change them.
"Well how about you try them again in the rain and see if they leak again, if so we can look at sorting out perhaps a modification that won't affect the warranty?"
WHAT??
"Well we can look at talking to Rukka and getting an adjuster put on the bottom to tighten the leg..."
Errr.... NO! The leg is too short!
"Well Sean is back in tomorrow - I'll talk to him and get him to call you"
Definitely?
"Yes"
Well that was wednesday and no one has called me.
No one answered the phone either on friday. Or yesterday morning.
So I'll be up there again on monday (a 110 mile round trip) and won't be leaving until they are either changed or fully refunded.
I'm not having a brand new set of kit "adjusted".
I'm also not going to keep wearing them either and then have them turn round and say "well you've worn them too much so they can't be returned..."
They've already stated this on the £250+ Rukka gloves that were worn once - to ride back to them -leaving my fingers freezing due to the cold spots on the fingers. Winter gloves that aren't warm enough on a 10* day let alone when its below 5*!
Not a happy chappie after spending several thousand pounds with them this year alone.

Blimey. I hope they sort you out with your gears, The Moose. Hopefully they'll be more helpful than it appears, The Moose. If not, I'd be out of there on a gondolier, The Moose.

Truly, you should expect better treatment at any level of expenditure this financial year, The Moose, but at over a grand you're basically a financier, The Moose. Really hoping they at least sort you out with souvineers, The Moose. Nothing worse than a bad atmosphere, The Moose.

Have to say their arrogant attitude didn't go down well with us either.
(Insincere, bit like some of the replies on this thread are coming across).
