Imagine how bad ducati must be feeling , there paying his wage for the next couple of years.
This....

I felt bad for VR when he was at Ducati, because he was obviously struggling on a then, poor bike that everyone else was struggling with to.

The bike seems to be certainly getting there now, but if it doesn't give JL the front end feel/confidence he needs, I can see him wobbling round like this for the next two years.

Oops

Looks like he started pushing when he got the board crutchlow was catching.. Could we be on for another CC win? Should jinx it.... I think Rossi might have a part to play though ...!

Well done Cal. Fantastic!
Well salvaged weekend by Rossi.

We've been lucky for this one. They don't have that inept commentating over these parts. It was a real pleasure

Great ride from Cal, fair play to him. Rossi rode well from deep on the grid too.

Really??

Even as a Rossi fan I can't see that happening. Viinales is one of the new generation aliens that Yamaha recognised when signing him. Yamaha may have some loyalty to Rossi, but do you really think they will let him dictate to the team in the twilight of his career?

Yam will be desperate to have a Rossi 10th championship though. And arguably they may have made that harder! Brilliant from Cal

was it in june that cal was being written-off on here? smile Two wins, two seconds follow and now he's top satellite by some margin
Plus the small matter of being 6th in the championship ahead of Dovi on the factory Ducati he was so slated for leaving....

The same vitriol and abuse doesn't stretch to Sam Lowes, who's thrown it down the road 28 times this year and with it a genuine chance of challenging for the world title. Probably as he's less controversial on social media.

Only 3 independent wins since '06 and Cal has 2 of them.

I have to agree that Vinales on the Yamaha is an exciting prospect for next year and Ducati really have to be thinking, WTF! The move to Michelins is hurting his ability to ride, however Sepang is likely to be different with the temps being so much higher.
