1. Buy a van. Fed up of trailers and paying through the nose to hire vans for track days.
2. Do Cadwell and Oulton and get out of the South East for a change
3. Nail Snetterton
4. Sell my trailie as it's been sat doing nothing since April and isn't likely to move any time soon
Not long left of this year, how have folks done?

1. Now the proud owner of a tatty van
2. Solely did Snetterton and Brands this year so failed this one!
3. Certainly not nailed it but its started to click allot better than it did last year
4. Trailie went in April

7. sell my fireblade after doing no.2 pisses me off, ponder what bike to buy then realise its a fking 675 like what you had.
fking hell.

I did 1, 4, and 5. I'm most proud of 4.

I started of doing number two but the weather was pish the rest of the year. 7 I still have the blade but I bought another 675

2, Repair the crack in the fairing
3, Get off my arse and arrange a weekend away in Northern France
4, Do some club meetings at Silverstone with my lad
5, Visit the National Motorcycle Museum with my Father In Law
6, Buy a twin shock trials bike
Well I managed 1,2 & 4, bought a tatty CBR 600 instead of a trials bike, there is still time to do the NMM, I doubt if I’ll get to Northern France this year!

Nothing spectacular there really.
Well I didn't fall off and did 3000 miles this year so two out of five, piss poor effort.

Job uncertainty has limited my plans so far, and cancelled a coast to coast trip in the USA. I did manage to ride up to the Nordkapp this year though!

1, I'll be mainly riding the Explorer to places in the UK, possibly back to Germany or around Ireland.

2, I'd like to get in an offroad course, possibly the BMW one in Wales (I live in NE Scotland) as I think it'll help when things get slippery.

3, Further tidying and refining of the project BMW K100 as it has a good long list of stuff to get done over the winter.
1, Did a Land's end to John O'Groats trip, so that covered a fair bit of the UK in a 2.5k mile loop
2, Umm... Nope.
3, Well yes and no, did more to the bike but didn't really ride it and there's still more to do until I'm happy. My GPZ600R took up most of the time and is still in bits too!

Do at least one trackday, I had donington booked for March this year but cancelled due to bad weather so I've got a bit of credit with no limits to use up.

Do a bit of touring in Europe over summer. Preferably camping and just riding nice twisties every day. Need to fit a taller screen to the Tuono to do this or I think my neck will break!

Buy an enduro bike.
Well I did Mallory, Brands and Rockingham so covered point 1 well enough. The other points I didn't do but I did buy more bikes!

5. Commute in the sunshine.
I did all of mine. Got 1500 quid for the Honda, moved my ass out to Spain, bought a Kawasaki on a whim (which I don't really like a all) and started to commute on it. And it's still sunny.

2017 goals:

1. Do something with my old Fireblade - either sell it, or do some basic mods to make it more track focused, either way it can't continue to gather dust.

2. Polish up my off road skills with ome sort of coure..leading to:

3. Go to the Pyrenees on my Enduro bike and do some trail riding.

4. Find time, and put some more miles on my S1000
1. Fireblade went in July. I miss it.
4. Put a couple of thousand miles on the S1000, that's good for me.

2. IOM TT Race week, again not crashing over the mountain section
3. Getting my track bike dialed in as sweet as my last one and beating my pb times as a personal self goal. Namely Cadwell sub 1.40's
4. Get my son back into racing rather than just practice days
5. Stop spending money on bike stuff all the time which really isn't needed
6. Maybe look at an Enduro bike and getting back into my routes of off-road riding
7. One Euro trip again on the track bike
Just see my old post and it made me laugh. Right end of the year and lets see what I did

1. Done it, loved it, didnt crash
2. Done it, got wet, still loved it, didnt crash
3. Bike dialed in, electrical problems and nope didnt do better than a 1.40 again!
4. Yes, did pretty much a full race season but missed 2 rounds due to reasons. Has a 2018 CRF250 due in 3 weeks for next year
5. Didnt happen...Im skint
6. Nope see above because of track, road and sons mx bikes
7. Yes and loved it (See trackday thread)

Still some road riding to do in 2017 but think I'll be doing my 2018 'to do's soon

Did you get up the mountain section this year? Tried so many times, but it was always closed.

I got up a good few times. The key is getting up silly early at crack of sparrows and getting a few laps in before the nutjobs shake off their hangovers.

Had one run where I only saw 3 other bikes.
