No wonder the scrotes have no fear of being nicked.
"Frank Fisher aged 18 of Upper Halliford Road, Shepperton was sentenced yesterday for failing to stop for police, attempted burglary, attempted theft of motor vehicle, dangerous driving, driving with no licence, no insurance, aggravated vehicle taking, going equipped to steal and handling stolen goods"
...and here's what he got as punishment
He was given a 20 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, disqualified from driving until extended test passed, £115 victim surcharge, £85 costs to the CPS and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.
The only pain he endures is having to pay £200 at the rate of ninepence a week out of his dole.
£200 is often less than a speeding fine for normally law-abiding folk
That'll teach 'im!
Yep, our wonderful pathetic justice system in operation, whereby the scrotes know they can effectively do what the f**k they like, as even if/when caught by the Police, the idiots in court show them the door so they can go straight out and do it again.....with a please don't be a naughty boy again.....falling on deaf ears as they are laughing so much.No wonder the scrotes have no fear of being nicked.

If someone however, gave the scum a fking good hiding, they'd be locked up for years instead

It's almost as if the police have been asleep and only just noticed what everyone else knew.
The most piss-boiling bit for me is the talk of not pursuing the scrotes, for the sake of their safety.
Who gives a crap if a scummy, thieving scrote's life is ended under the wheels of a big red London bus.

"In addition, many suspects are not pursued if they are not wearing a helmet because of concerns for their safety."
I can accept not chasing if it endangers the public, but who cares if someone running from the police injures themselves. Public opinion is on their side, so why do the police make a rod for their own backs. 600% increase in moped crime in 2 years clearly shows they have screwed up.

I care if they are injured - it costs the NHS to fix them !I can accept not chasing if it endangers the public, but who cares if someone running from the police injures themselves.
Get the Police to run over them - the savings in NHS, Court and Prison costs let alone the savings to their future victims...

Whilst I totally agree that the UK system is an absolute joke, I do think that there is probably some smarter middle ground between letting them go without challenge and basically what amounts to trying to kill them whilst risking sever injury to the driver of the police car should the biker have swerved left a little before impact.

Mmm. I'm not sure I'd classify that as 'common sense' personally?

Such as what ?Whilst I totally agree that the UK system is an absolute joke, I do think that there is probably some smarter middle ground between letting them go without challenge and basically what amounts to trying to kill them whilst risking sever injury to the driver of the police car should the biker have swerved left a little before impact.
I am being serious - because other than knocking someone off a bike - how can the Police stop them ?
Which presumably is why they pretty much, ignore them currently.
I know the odd one gets followed where they hope he'll fall off or dump it but that doesn't really work.

It's a tough one for the police TBH, on one hand you want them to give the b******s who burgle, mug or steal bikes a good f*****g hiding but I'm not sure any of those offences actually justify what could well amount to a death sentence if you knock the f****s off at silly speeds. The possibility of injuries to the general public who get caught up in it when chasing them is also a very real concern.

Armed response in large towns and cities are usually pretty quick on the scene. If anyone sees bike theft in action, dial 999 claim the thieves threatened you with something that looks like a gun and are masked. Hopefully then someone will turn up pretty quick and actually pursue them......maybe if they put up a fight with an angle grinder it can be mistaken for a gun..
