Tradition says I'll start the thread following on from the previous year.

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

4th year running.

Had a good few run outs last year when I bought the r1.

I'll pick up another one this year. So as per usual who is out...

HNY everyone.

New bike incoming, which of course will need some mileage putting on it, so once the warmer weather gets here, I'm in...

I haven't got a bike at the minute, and I'm not even in the SE yet, but we're moving to High Wycombe beginning of Feb and I'd like to think I'll have another bike within 3 or 4 months.
So providing I manage all that, I'd like to tag along at some point...!

Are northerners allowed?

I didn't get out for one 'fun' ride last year so have resolved to improve upon that.

hehe I don't mind leading this again in the highly likely scenario that Sc0tt doesn't have a bike in time. smile ... and as long as it's dry else I'll bring my scooter!

As for pace, any time a UK group ride in South East goes over 5 people, the pace is seriously reduced. In the past these have been slow paced runs.

I'll be up for some rides, I managed to keep up (just!) on a 400 last year on a ride so should be easier on a 1000cc Tuono biggrin

Joking aside we did have a few memorable rides in Kent & Essex most of which were organised by Sc0tt. But since Sc0tt has stop riding no one else has picked up the batten and organised one which is a bit of a shame as we did have quite a good social calendar.

I organised a couple of ride outs but after the off in Belgium I did question how I'd feel if someone seriously injured themselves on a ride I'd organised which to some extent has put me off organising another one.

So now that Sc0tt's hung up his leathers we need a new organiser.....scratchchin

Last one I went on (and not the one where they salted the roads to bu$$ery) Ade and a few of us, maybe didn't use our mirrors and we lost a load of people.

Also as long as dates allow I'll head out.

Sc0tt, not spoken in a whiloe, what happened to the bike?

The ride out in Belgium I went on was ace Andy, really enjoyed it. I'm thijnking of something similar this year, as a couple of friends have recently passed, although they are on 50bhp bikes, so I will take the new Monster and the OH as pillion.

I've done a few smaller trips out around areas I know, but outside local knowledge I am directionally challenged.
