Biker1,

I'm old, my folks left me some cash when they passed away a few years back, my wife is a rarity of species who hardly spends any money, my kids have got jobs/left home, and I know where all the bodies are buried where I work, so they can't afford to sack me :-)

Don't like that silly little extra light above the headlight. Not bright enough to be useful on its own and can't have the headlights on without it

IIRC it was from some stupid safety initiative where three lights would stand out more than two, the first EXUP's had it too.

I'm fairly sure the worst thing about my bike aesthetically is the overgrown bearded manchild with a massive helmet and textiles which are too big riding it. Other than that the old Fazer looks semi decent. OK, it's a pedestrian bike without many style points, but I quit like the way the black FZS600s looked in that scene from Kill Bill.

I still think the RSv4 is one of the best looking bikes on the market today

This new super spec one is a real thing of beauty
Yep the new '17 RSV is a bit special...track bike? haha
For the seriously well off Track day go-er.
I did see you can have it come with a team of Italian Factory Aprilia technicians to help you track side with set up etc at every outing for a price.
I can just picture myself at the track with these guys in big aprilia truck laughing at my lap times, drinking coffee, doing their hair and generally trying it on with everyone's wives smile

The fact it is still in my garage in pieces and not being ridden despite having owned it for 2 months!

I'd be more aesthetically upset about the Cheng Shin tyres!

Ignoring that it is very much an 80's bike (ie accounting for the period rather than just comparing with modern bikes)

The front wheel looks just like there is too much gap. Aesthetically it kind of looks like someone has put a chopper front end on.

(also as stock the exhaust looks crap but not an issue with mine).

I think part of the problem is I'm comparing it to its relative.

Maxxis are pretty decent these days - I've run them on my R1100S. The only fault is that they're a bit soft, so wear out a little quicker than something like a Conti Sport Attack, so I'm not entirely convinced by the value.

Yesterday I dropped my Multi off at P&H in Crawley and they had this in the showroom. Stunning bike. Paintwork by Dream Machine

I'm not to keen on the fact that the red stripe along the body clearly doesn't line up.
