Nice. Only 212kg apparently, not so fat. But if my smt is anything to go by the weighting of it will be sublime and you won't know it weighs even that.

Yep, TBH I don't have much experience with riding loads of different bikes but the weekend before I rode a BMW GS and an S1000XR and it felt way lighter and more nimble than the GS. I think it feels very agile and lightweight, the electronic suspension is great, I'm a very happy bunny.
It just needs the end can changed to get some of that V Twin thump released.

Did you purposefully colour match your Bike to your VW Bus? smile

Nice bike. Does it have heated seats? I loved the heated seats on the 1290.

Errr, the Bus is Beige, the KTM is Grey, am I missing something?

Heated seat, No, heated grips, yes

Just be aware that huge topboxes with lots of weight in can destroy rear subframes. I don't know how solid the KTMs and Multis are but my VFR broke its subframe just by carrying a laptop bag in the topbox.
Wow, I have never heard of this. I carry a fairly heavy bag (Laptop, wash bag, gym clothes, clean shirt) plus a small toolkit and a big can of chain oile in my CB top box every day!

The allowable weight (according to Givi) in this giant box is 10kg I believe, the box itself weighs a few kg and the allowable top speed is 120kph! although I think these are generic and not specific to the bike and it's subframe.
Thankfully I don't carry much weight in it, its more for me to shove my bike gear in when I leave it at the train station every day.

I've got the same box on my smt, it's been fine loaded up, 2up touring. Wouldn't worry.

Though mine bolts onto the OEM plate on the smt, looks like yours is onto a givi thing.

I have a standard Honda one I have filled the top box up with kit (15kg), 2 side panniers, me and my mrs and sat on the motorway for 15 hours, it was fine...i think. Although I do not often check the subframe!

Yes.

Playful humour.

I'll try this... your KTM has a lack of Orange and therefore is inferior to its Orange brethren. Its probably down by 20 horsepower.

Nevermind.

Ah I'm with you now. Funny enough I would have liked an orange one if it was KTM orange but not the dodgy metallic orange the 1190 comes in!
