Had two NC30 Honda VFR400RR's when I was younger, one of which was a very rare official UK spec bike. (No 110mph restriction-150mph speedo... needed it!)

These are not my bikes in the pictures but similar ones from google.

I had the red and black japanese import bikes engine almost fully HRC tuned. and I rebuilt the carbs myself. Probably one of the most complicated and awkward mechanics jobs I've ever done. Such a pain in the a.....

not mine, but a mates..

its a Honda 'dream 50' fully kitted with HRC parts (different engine bits, large KEHIN flatslide, alloy fueltank, 6 speed box, etc..)

made as a limited run to commemorate the CR110 racers, it's a mad little thing. Only 50cc with DOHC head it revs to 15,000rpm (it idles at 4,500rpm) and makes an absolute racket on its open pipes..

have ridden it through the village and its utterly bonkers, weighs about the same as a mountain bike...

Does anyone have a Kawasaki GPZ 750 Turbo ?
I don't ride however still love the look & emotion you get by just looking at a good bike.
When I was a child, it was my favourite....
Would love to see some photos if anyone can share...
Was a truly special bike in my opinion.

I've still got one.
I concur a spark plug change in the front bank isn't as fun as you'd think.

That would be the Mr 750Turbo

I spotted this restored beauty last month, yours for 12k...I also have a soft spot for them, I think the production run was only a year or 2 maximum but they where the best of the turbo bikes for sure.

This was mine. Always liked the bike when it was in Performance Bikes magazine and eventually bought from sweary Bob Stevenson (RIP) of Spondon Engineering as a rolling chassis circa 1998 and sold 2008(for a fraction of the build cost). Whatever you think a special will cost you double it (and then some!). Great fun (looked and sounded [due to it being a triple with barely any silencing] fantastic), but in hindsight I wish I had bought a 1992 RRN Fireblade.

From memory a hydraulic pump off the front sprocket to the front hub , there was also a chain driven set up which looked incredibly dangerous on a dirt bike .

Hydraulic pump off the drive sprocket through hoses to the front hub.
Awesome in the snow, mud etc. Bit heavy though.
