Spring my arse, we had an inch of snow this morning
Bah, that's bad Dave, we had -3 overnight and it's barely got over 2 degrees today, it'll not be long before we're all siting on the wall at devils bridge wondering who's turn it is for the tea/coffee. ( I got them in at Hartside so it's not my turn for a while)Biker's Nemesis said:

Its right what they say about you, I'm not buying them as I bought them last time at Trough of Bowland, I know you weren't there but still......I'm itching to get on my bike but the weather has been pants. Hopefully it warms up soon so I can get out a few times before Oulton in a few weeks time. In the meantime, I'm going here http://www.philprice.co.uk this weekend which I'm looking forward to!
You're all a bunch of poofters!!!!!!!
I commute every day, all year, rain or shine. As for you lot: 'ooooohhh, my poncy bike might get a speck of salt/st on it!!!!!'. How hard can it be to apply a bit of ACF50/grease & give the bike a decent clean once a week? Even when Gary Gritter's vomited up a tonne of salt, all you need to do is rinse your brake calipers with cold water. Humbug.

No thanks, only poor people commute all year round on their bikes, I like a nice clean rust free bike thanks, heated windscreen and seats for the win, winter biking is for raging queers.I commute every day, all year, rain or shine. Snappy answer! I suppose I should've mentioned that my commute is about 6 miles, so hands don't get a chance to really freeze; I only have a single allotted parking space for Mrs B1, so no real choice other than the bike.Even so, I clock up 8k miles pa, & no signs of rust - other PH'ers must have bikes made out of cheese, iron, & monkey metal......

Right now my main priority is to sort out my small damp patch....re-pointing probably as opposed to under crackers problem.
Also looking forward to watching first lot of racing on the box as TV was out of action due to work on above.
Then...get bike in for first MoT then demo ride on next one & see about selling mine.

Rally school, nice one, take your Go Pro Tom.The high speed passenger ride will be awesome. I've arranged for my girlfriend to have a passenger ride too so it should stop her complaining about my driving!
