I'm off getting wet and muddy again this weekend at Ashdown Farm MX track. There is no way I'll be riding on road until it warms up, stops raining and all the salt is washed away.
We're meant to be at milkrun tomorrow but rain cancelled it

So Chippenham Saturday and Mildenhall Sunday first round of eassc

Next Sunday my first track day of the year all being well at Snetterton

I'll be out Thursday and Friday for a quick road ride. Not issues with wet now I'm on m7rr's

Weather has been that st lately even I've given up with the bike and used the car. I don't mind a bit of rain / salt but I get fed up of being cold and my kit being covered in st. Then needing to rinse the bike down constantly ... bks to it.

I'm officially old biggrin

Trackdays and road riding just aren't fun at this time of year IMO.

I would have been looking forward to spring, but since I can't even drive at the moment I doubt I'll be back on the bikes for a good while yet frown As long as the bloody rain stops I'll be happier though.

Just 2 more long weekend trips to plan for the year then its all the day trips in between.

The end of the Month

Clocks going back , and a whole weekend of being anti social and watching Moto GP alone with Fleegle.

Well funny you should say this as the race just got cancelled due to track conditions

Was on the road bike today though and bloody lovely although if I've not ridden on track for a few months it winds me up on the road as so many drivers are just so stupid. Today after 50 miles I remembered why I hung up my boots on the road and went to racing... Twice!

Respect to commuters - your patience at times must be so good

It's just too early to ride fullstop at his time of year. I think race seasons will start being adjusted soon to run to the end of Oct / early Nov as it's very mild til then

Missed this. Why can't you ride, what have you done?
