Not been yet. The way some people harp on about it you'd think the experience was almost Religious.
I passengered there on a car track day and the car I was in spun mid-way through Blanchimont at well into three figures. Got away with just a kiss of the concrete wall on the inside of the turn. It's certainly a track that stands out in my memory as being pretty awesome! smile

They can sell out fast, they are very expensive, and it does rain a lot.

But it's totally worth it

WOW - you are hauling ass!!!!

Loved that video after finally getting around to watching it. Were you doing 4th through Eau Rouge? just aim at the house to drag you toward the apex and then on to the Kimmel straight?

awesome. Got the blood flowing.

Yeh, just about on the limiter in 5th on the approach, skimming the pit wall, turn in and aim to just clip the left kerb, brake and change down to 4th, then launch but in and aim for the patch of scrapped tarmac where all the F1 cars bottom out. You lose a huge amount of speed as you start to go uphill, so you need to get back on the throttle as soon as you have turned in to et good drive up the kemmel straight. The top left hand apex is totally blind until it's too late, so you need to work out a reference point from the trees in the background, but there is tarmac run off, so not the end of the world if you get it wrong

I always take a pair of wets but in 8 years i've only needed to put them on 3 times, never for the whole day. It's just insurance incase full wet.
As regard the weather I participated/worked on about 20 trackdays at Spa last year from mid march thru to November. I have been there in april and october in scorchio temps. Really is luck of the draw but mainly dry, wets as insurance. Thats what I do.

I managed to watch it and I'm useless with tech what's up with you? hehe

To summarise - he looks a bit shabby through the bendy bits, relies too much on the slipper clutch, Red Water corner looks fun, track looks a bit speedy.

Yes, it's not cheap but yes, it's worth it.
