I enjoyed the racing. I think it'll be between Rea and Davis this year unless injury gets in the way.

Good racing all round.

Its a shame they cut the SS race short that was good stuff, last lap was fecking bananas. I really hope Kyle Ryde shines this year.

Good racing.

Melandri ?
So good out of the last corner.
So slow into the first corner ! confused

I think Lowes was right at the limit most of race 2. clap

Rea having a masterclass on how to ride SBK. cool

Be interesting how sykes deals with no longer being the main man.

The ride that impressed me the most was Lowes. Rea, Davies, Melandri and Sykes all did what you would predict, and it will ebb and flow between them hopefully throughout the season.

Lowes impressed me let, by along way. Easy to overlook the difference year on year and one race isn't a season ....The Yamaha is clearly not the fastest out there, but the number of times he buried the front into Honda or MG, when historically he would have taken to the grass and potentially with other victims and he didn't. I winced on more than occasion, without the confidence I would have in one of the other four due to the last 2 seasons of varying success of staying on.

He really showed he'd got a close relationship with the bike to push it that hard and he understands the need to stay on it, accept 4th and leave PI in equal 3rd in the championship. Having raw speed, bravery and skills is one thing. Then throwing down the road every week is a waste. I hope Lowes lives up to the promise we've all hoped he would deliver at this level.

Although we recorded it over the weekend, there was a highlighted version on ITV4 (?) last night. Unfortunately the commentary was so boring I dropped off after 10 minutes. I will make a note not to tune into that again, dreadful.

I'll try again tonight with our recorded version

Glad it wasn't just me- worst commentary I've experienced. Editing was awful too

Still not getting sky though. It's between me and Murdock and I'm not backing down
