I agree with pretty much all of that. However, I felt the quickshifter and blipper were damn near perfect but I guess you're going to get variance from bike-to-bike, especially ones with so few miles on them.

Ultimately, I'm a Fireblade wh*re. I love Fireblades. They just work. I can't say they'll always work spectacularly but I'm confident in saying they'll always work.

I also lack emotions, feeling and soul. It's a win win.

Yeah, there's no way I'd actually buy using Confused, I was just curious smile

Reasonably sure the non-quoting brokers are because they're unable to quote rather than sh*tting themselves at the prospect of it.

HNNNNNNNNNG!

Just got offered a bike for Saturday but had to decline because... I've seen the weather forecast.

Will now arrive for April 15th.

Looks like insurance has become a fatal stumbling block, so I think I'm going to have to cancel the order.

Cheapest option would've been £1,920 and I'm not paying that to insure a bike, not when I've been paying £210. It appears to be completely and utterly toxic with all brokers and underwriters at the moment.

So yeah, f*ck it, sticking with my current Blade now.

Over 19K for the SP they are testing, although it won their test.
Really? Quite surprised by that as I figured the Honda dullness factor would get in the way and either the 1299 or S1000RR would top it.

Problem solved. McApe told me to try Bemoto in Peterborough and they provided a quote for £472, which is stunning!

That's good news martin, I was a bit gutted for you when I saw the price of your first Insurance quote.

Me too! Was told yesterday that the bike arrives at the dealer on Thursday, so going to to try and hurry them along to see if they can do anything to allow me to collect on Saturday. Damn Good Friday.

Looks like I'm on for Tuesday 18th, which is a bit of a bummer that I won't have it for the easter weekend but that can't be helped, I guess.

SOON.

Just got back from seeing it wrapped in plastic, whilst my current bike was inspected for px. I was supposed to get it on Tuesday but they're working really hard to get it prepared today for collection first thing on Saturday, which is nice.

Very nice ....I see you are at bikestop ...trying on a new matching power ranger outfit perhaps? smile
I know the owner quite well and I promised I'd bring it down to show them when I got it smile

Just managed 200 miles today and it really does -- to my untrained senses -- feel amazing. Very happy with my choice smile

Sweet as a nut.

I see you have the same problem as me, a shared drive, you have a full house of Chav there, a modern superbike and a turbocharged Ford.

Welcome to the club.
Yeah, shared with three houses but we all get on well so we just dump our cars wherever we like. Focus is currently on my neighbour's drive smile
